SSE Autel Robotics EVO Foldable Quadcopter with 3-Axis Gimbal Essential Autel Case Bundle

Likes: My first drone was the X-Star Premium by Autel. I researchesd drones before making my first major drone purchase and Autel was the one for me. My son in law went with with DJI. I loved Autel and I thought it to be a much better drone than the DJI and it came complete with carry case and accessories. His DJI did not. Autel then came out with the EVO. Again I researched and matched it to its closest competitor, DJI. All around a better compact drone. Dislikes and the reason for a 3. Far more complicated to fly than the X-Star. Not nearly as easy/dummy proof. Much larger longer learning curve to fly. I also purchased thru Amazon's SSE Photo as a bundle because I thought the VR glasses would be a really fun way to fly. Turns out Autel's software is not yet VR compatible. SSE should have known that and should not have sold VR goggles as a bundle offer. If you are a first time flyer buy an X-Star. I am slowly learning the EVO. The pictures are amazing, flight is longer than the X-Star and the range blows everyone out of the water.

I am very impressed with the EVO. I usually fly a Parrot Anafi, another great drone BTW, but the EVO definitely is a leg up. Obstacle avoidance and an excellent camera. I have had to use the Autel CS and they are top notch. Anyone looking for a drone who does not want to deal with DJI’s NFZs, which often times make no sense and do not even correspond with Airmaps and other drone flight clearance apps, then this drone is an excellent choice.

Fantastic drone. I have a Yuneec Typhoon H and was doing a lot a research on drones because I wanted one that was portable. I gave DJI Mavic 2 Zoom a hard look and almost pulled the trigger on it. But now that I have my Autel Evo I’m happy I chose this drone. It has a zoom feature that I didn’t even know about. It’s digital zoom and not optical but who cares it serves the purpose. I absolutely love this drone

I absolutely love this drone. I Have many DJI products, including the mavic 2 zoom. And this by far is my favorite drone Autel robotics really knocked this one out of the park. The only down side to the Evo is it doesn't have all the autonomous flight modes as DJI but if your a experienced flyer like myself you won't miss them. Best bang for the buck!!!!!!
