Works great until it doesn't
I thought I had finally found a distiller that would last after trying a few other brands. Well, it looks like that hope was unfounded. I purchased this distiller in Feb of 2019. By Aug 2019, the lid that seals the tapwater has deformed from heat ( I imagine ) so much that the machine now leaks about 1/2 cup of water all over the counter each time I use it. Contacting the manufacturer did me no good as well. They ignored my attempts to contact them and as they are not a US based company, it makes it difficult to get any resolution. Still, for the short time it worked, it worked well. Just wish it would have lasted longer than 6months.

Manufacture Co says Defective Design
This is a defective design and manufacturer even has a message posted on their website indicating so. Worked great for 6 months then stopped.

Worth every penny
This was my first water distiller and I must say my entire family love drinking water now . Thers no after taste and fairly quick process about 3 1/2 hours to complete. It's kinda loud but I dont notice it much anymore. I use it daily 2 times a day

Worked for 3 weeks
Worked for 3 weeks. I have no idea of the problem and don't care, but it stops operating after only distilling maybe 1/10 of the water. I think it's a problem with the "heat sensor", whatever that is. I bought it from a vendor not on Amazon (Purater.com-worst vendor ever!). Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a good countertop water distiller on the market currently. I've researched it extensively. Until a good one shows up, I may just have to buy the gallon jugs at the supermarket.

Great while it lasts, but when it dies, it's dead
Compared to other folks here, I got a lot of use out of mine - we had it for a little over a year, and used it at least a few times each week.It now shuts itself off after ~10 seconds (the same failure mode I see people commenting on all over), and the manufacturer is even saying that they've stopped making it and will be working on another countertop unit.As painful as it is to buy and lug the gallon jugs home, I think that's your best bet unless you go through enough water to justify the cost of one of the more robust units that's out there.

lid broke in 6 months, now unit leaks steam out the side causing water problem around the unit.
after approx 6 months lid broke, unit would not function properly. after over a month of poor communication i was sent a replacement lid. New lid lasted another 6 months or so and now im stuck with a $400 machine. I have called their customer service and left several message for help with no response. Not working! No customer service! feel cheated.
