** Disclaimer: This is my first time using any type of shapewear besides minimally padded bras. **My body type may be similar to others looking at this type of garment. I have a wide waist, really no hips to speak of, and a very small butt with very little projection (aka, kinda flat). To be honest, I struggled with getting the courage to wear these. I worried that it would look fake, people would notice, the pads would dislodge, get crooked, or even worse- someone would grab my butt and discover my ‘secret’ ha ha. I also grappled with my insecurity with my booty, and questioned why I couldn’t just accept my butt the way it is.So here are my thoughts after finally getting the courage to wear them on a night out on the town:I put them on, (Size XXL) fit perfect on my normally size L US body.I wore them with form fitting pants. I thought I could distinctly see the two padded circles showing when I looked in the mirror. They almost looked too perfectly round in shape but I quickly dismissed I was being too paranoid. The change was slight but definitely filled out my pants that previously kinda sagged in that area. It looked a lot better! But did it feel ‘real’? I grabbed around and squeezed it myself to find out. Nope, not even close to any type of butt. Jiggly, firm or otherwise. It just felt like padding.Well, I went out, had a good time, danced the night away, no one noticed (I don’t think), and no one ‘accidentally’ grabbed my butt. I just kinda forgot they were on until I used the bathroom and saw them. The removable pads stayed in place.So to sum this up. I probably would wear these again only for an important event that I needed to be photographed in but personally wouldn’t wear them for everyday use. I would feel too uncomfortable that I was faking a butt that I didn’t have and never will have- no matter how many squats that I do. Nothing against the product at all, they did a excellent job with the garment, it’s just not for me.

These are comfortable, and do add some extra umph to your rear, but the sizing is really hard to get right. I ordered a small just based on waist size, I have a 25" waist, but I'm not completely unblessed in glutes department and have 36" hips. The small was a little too tight, and the padded area of the back side sat too high up on me. A lot of my natural behind still sat below the padding, causing a line and weird double-butt thing to happen. if I wear the underwear lower than intended, they work okay with jeans. I feel just so-so about the product, I may try a larger size and update my review if that makes a difference.
