Christine Caine really has hit the nail on the head when she wrote her book. She walks through how she has gotten to where she is right now... Living Undaunted. She takes her readers on a journey through where God has taken her with the different things that has happened to her and her journey walking closely with The Lord to sort out and restore her own heart so that she can be part of others restorative journey. I love how she is real, raw, and funny. Her life story is truly an inspiration. I loved how she really encourages the reader in their journey of restoration through scripture and simply giving the tools to move forward in life when life doesn't always play nice. I feel empowered and feel like God has been able to really speak to my heart and restore me so that I can be who i was created to be in God and help equip those around me to do the same. I bought the Kindle version and had to buy the paperback so that I can give it as a gift, I am telling everyone I know about the book, I believe it could really help everyone in restoration and coming more into their identity in Christ no matter what their story.

Daunted. Not a word I use very often so not a word I thought much of until I read Undaunted: Daring to do what God calls you to do by Christine Cain. To be Undaunted is to allow us to not be stopped or discouraged by the challenges we face in life but rather to allow God to use our lives to help others.I could hardly put this book down. Christine Cain writes in such a fashion that this book was a page turner for me. I found her story to be inspiring and by the end of this book, I felt like God could use me to make a difference in the world as well. Instead of giving in to discouragement in our disappointments, Cain encourages us to let God use those parts of our lives and to remember that something better awaits us.This book includes some steps to help overcome disappointment and to help work through fear. She shares stories from her life and how God uses those life challenges to grow her and to help her to help others. It did inspire me to feel that God will help me to also help bring hope and change to others in this world that need it--if I will look to Him and let Him work in my life. This book left me wanting--wanting to go into the world and to share Jesus' love with those in the dark and troubled places. I pray God will show me my next steps.I would recommend this book to anyone but especially to those who are feeling hopeless and daunted. . .This would be a great book to do with a group. However, there aren't any questions in the back for discussion but there is an Undaunted Discussion Guide book and 5-session DVD available from Zondervan for groups to use.I received this book from Booksneeze at no charge. Christine Caine is not only an amazing speaker, but also has a gift for writing. With her book "Undaunted," she takes us on her own personal journey where she found the courage to let go of her past and move forward with the call God had for her life. This book is a great read for anyone at any level in life. Christine uses God's Word and her past (including adoption and sexual abuse) to share how the reader can overcome and answer the call that God has for their lives. This book is inspirational, and yet it also encourages application. After reading Christine's book, it's clear that we must press forward with our walk with Christ. We cannot stay stuck in the past. Christine pulls the reader in with this book, and she only releases the reader when it is time for the reader to continue onward on his or her own journey to answer the call God put forth for their own lives.

I loaded Christine's book on my Kindle right before I climbed on a plane for Greece. I work for a non profit organization that works to provide bible products to children across the globe. I was heading to Greece to meet with youth to help discover how to reach their generation with the Gospel.Christine's book was timely for me. What God is calling me to do, what He is asking me to be a part of is much bigger than I can accomplish or fathom alone. But, as Christine so perfectly says, God does ask if we are able, Hi simply asks if we are willing.This book will lead you to the feet of Jesus. It will leave you asking Him to soften your heart, direct your paths and quicken your feet towards those who are without hope. Thank you, Christine for sharing your story and inspiring us to live a life undaunted.

The opening was the most gripping part of the book. Following that I found some very solid information and reminders about what God wants for our lives. The format was anecdotal and sprinkled with insight and application, although I found it a bit choppy. Overall a very good book well worth the read. It's the kind of book one finishes and then says not only "What can I do?", but then steps out with confidence knowing that God has plans for each of our lives if we dare to be undaunted.

This book is so inspiring and the stories that are told and Scriptures shared truly reminded me that we can live undaunted because nothing is impossible for God! No more shrinking back-its time to go!

The story is interesting and inspiring, and I’ll be reading it again. Sometimes we need to be confronted with uncomfortable realities and then reminded that there is hope in Jesus for even the darkest situations. Well done.

Christine writes so well and tells it like it is!

Lovely biography. It cannot be a coincidence that i read this book in the exact time when i needed it. Loved it! Loved it!

What a wonderfully Christian book! We are a very passive Christians. There are so many hurting people. Even in our own neighborhoods. Loved the book.

Thanks for sharing your experience.This is not a story, but clear and poseerful reminder than we need to remember than we are blessed to be free and we have to act to help others.it is a great reminder than everything is possible with God.I really do not want anyone to look at me and ask 'why didn't you come sooner'!!! So time to act now.if you have something in your heart, you want to help and does not know how, what, when and if you doubt you have the ability to do it. PLEASE read this book.
