So handy!
I really didn't believe what was said in the promotions about these silicon pads, but they really DO hold things very well. My sister and I both have them now in the center of our cars' steering wheels to hold our iPhones. Now we can see the turns coming up on the GPS maps without the phone sliding off our knees and without putting some ugly mount on the dashboard. And they are far better than velcro for mounting my portable speaker, which I take off when parked and put in the glove box. I'm sure we'll find other uses, too.

These work really well, but don't let your cat sit on them!
Ok so I bought these gel pads to hold my cell phone. I tell you what, these things are really really sticky! And they really hold my cellphone very nicely. One bit of advice that I think is very important. Don’t let your cat sit on this. Ok, I’m not saying my cat did or didn’t sit on this but if they do, you’re gonna have to put them in the tub. And you might get scratched. It just goes to show you how strong these things really are. It’s best to use them on a smooth surface and not a porous wall. I’d buy these again, but I will keep my cats away from them next time. Oh, and they clean up nicely, (the gel pads not the cat). Just rinse them throughly in warm water, (the cats not the gel pads).

Doesn't stay stuck
Not impressed. Feels sticky but will not hold an object on a wall for more then a few minutes before it falls off. Fine to attach a phone to something like a car dashboard for a few minutes. Also plastic dings and dents easily.

This pulled off the sparkles to my cell phone cover ...
This pulled off the sparkles to my cell phone cover and doesn't really hold things securely to all surfaces. The adhesive quality diminishes when being handled.

Sticky = dirty
You can't put anything heavy hanging on it because it will fall off. If it's hot in your car dash it won't hold for long. All dust particles in the air stick to it so it WILL get dirty - fast, Yes you can wash it- a lot. It stuck to my dash on a hot day and ripped in two when I took it off. I then kept avoiding it so I threw them all away. The stiff bendy one wouldn't stay bent. It unfolded every time and threw my phone off.

Sticky
They are really sticky, but things don’t always stay put on them.

These Work GREAT! Absolutely What I've Been Looking For--Make Sure to Keep the Plastic Sheet to Recover them!
Wow! These pads really do the job! I put them on my car dashboard to hold my cell phone, and there was NO problem at all staying stuck, even after bouncing around some ugly construction potholes and steel plates in the road down the street! I left the pad in 105 degree heat (so you can imagine what it must have been in the car with the windows rolled up!) and there was again, NO problem with it staying stuck!It is SUPER sticky, so a word to the wise: KEEP THE LITTLE PLASTIC COVERS once you remove the pad from them for replacing them on the pad!I loved the fact that although they're super sticky, they remove so easily! One got stuck to a receipt I needed and I thought, "Oh no! The receipt's ruined!" But nope, it peeled right off of it, although the pad was determined to stay stuck to it, it just took a little tug to get it off.I think these things are amazing, I'm glad I bought them, I'm going to be giving them out as gifts, and will be ordering more for myself! They really work well!

These hold a phone in the car
I use this to hold my phone in the car. It works amazingly well. When it gets enough dust on it that it doesn't hold any longer, I scrub it with dishwashing soap and a sponge, then allow it to air dry. It regains its stick power. I like it so well I bought several for gifts.
