Tried setting it up with my Echo Dot when I got it to make sure everything worked fine before giving them to my parents and a friend ...
I am currently using this with a Google Home, but also tried it with an Echo Dot.Got this for my parents because it was a cheaper two pack on Amazon. Tried setting it up with my Echo Dot when I got it to make sure everything worked fine before giving them to my parents and a friend who have Google Homes. They said it wasn't difficult setting up, which makes it easier on me so I won't have to troubleshoot.Just make sure you connect it to a 2.4Ghz network. Like most of these smart plugs and switches, it won't work with 5Ghz wifi.

Very easy to setup and small enough to fit on any plug. Only used for simple on/off with Alexa and worth the effort.

The switches won't stay on
I love this technology. I have 3 of the outdoor Oittm smart switches which work great.Then I bought 2 of the Smart Plug Mini, Oittm Wi-Fi Mini Socket Smart Plug-in Outlet Switches.I am having problems with the 2 indoor switches.Is there any reason the switches would turn off by themselves? Both are turning off all by themselves without me logging into the app. I can restart by the app.I want the switches to stay on until I turn them off. I have reset both of them several times.I am 100% sure it is not a power problem - the outdoor switches are not having this problem.I even tried plugging them into a UPS as a test, but the problems persists.I hope this can be resolved.

Won’t connect. Wasted time and now I have to go through the return process.
Total waste of time and money. The plug doesn’t connect at all to WiFi. I tried everything. It shouldn’t be so difficult. I’ll stick with the Amazon smart plugs. Sucks because they are expensive, but at least they work and set up easily.
