I chose this cutlery set partly because they looked nice (obviously!) but also because I hated my previous set which hurt my hands to hold (rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia). I took a gamble with these - the photos 'looked' like the handles were a bit larger and more rounded than others I'd tried.I've had bad experiences in the past with cutlery sets from other companies. They've either rusted, faded, or the handles have fallen off so I was not too hopeful that these would last either.Six months later, despite using them daily and regularly throwing them in the dishwasher, they look as good as the day I bought them. I've just received my second set today and I can't tell which ones are the old ones and which are the new ones. The cutlery hasn't rusted. The colours have stayed bright and not worn or faded. Nothing has fallen apart.I'm pleased with how chunky the handles are - they fit nicely in the palm of my hand and they're smooth with no seams or irritating ridges.I recently raised a query with the seller and they replied quickly and were really nice and helpful too.

Very nice cutlery. Positives are the colour and the unusual round handles which are plastic.The negatives for me are the forks bend a little and the knife have some set of teeth, a little light weight.I didn't get a personalised note like some recie s have mentioned and there where no cushions in my set either lol.I would recommend this set.Update:Had the set two weeks now and like it even more. No problems with the forks or the knives and they are very comfortable to use. I haven't used the spoons for stirring porridge because I don't want the edges to get scored.Now on the lookout for a nice stand to display them. They deserve more than being stuck in the cutlery draw.Thank you for a nice, honest product. Would make a wonderful gift set if anyone cares to know.

Nice looking cutlery set, comfortable to hold and use. The knives are very sharp like steak knives and cut well. Each piece is quite lightweight and quite short but great for the money. The dessert spoons tend to be a little sharp on the front edge of the bowl of the spoon.

I have a lilac kitchen so this complimented the rest of the look. they seem very sturdy and the colour is absolutely lovely x buy with confidenceI recommend this set for everyday use x and postage wasn’t long at all xx plus packed very well x

Not a good buy for me, had to return one set, I bought three sets. One set was broken on delivery, three fork handles were badly broken, so returned. I was going to buy another set to complete what I needed, but after handwashing them the next day and another fork handle broke. So not happy with my purchase. Wouldn't recommend them. Also, quite small compared to my last cutlery sets.

With the good reviews. I have to say I love them . They look so posh and different from the basic cutleries .

I bought one set of Lilac handles ones a few months ago, but decided last week 4 is not really enough so ordered another set which arrived today. For the price, I find them good value. Really comfortable to hold, a nice size…I hate those large knives and forks which appear to be built for large men. I have 4 grandchildren ranging from 7-12 and they can all use them comfortably. Having used one set already, once all together in the drawer, you cannot tell difference between them. No fading whatsoever. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this cutlery set.NB a lovely personal note from the seller with this item. A nice touch.

I wanted to replace my old white cutlery, with new in blue. Wasn't sure whether to go for the dark blue ones or these lighter blue. Happy I opted for these, the lighter blue/grey-ish that go beautifully with my new blue plates and look elegant while sturdy.
