Good quality for an affordable priceperforms welleasy to install drives - 3.5 onlyget over 100mb/s sustainedkeeps drives coolif not accessed then shuts drives down within about 5-10 seconds - which initially was a bit alarming - but they come back just as fast when you try to access them - so save power and drive ware

Perfect if you like wasting days recovering lost data and failed partition maps...
This thing has caused me countless days of lost working time while I've had to extract and recover the hard drives from it. It's completely useless as a backup device as it can't seem to stand the disks down properly, meaning OSX has problems re-launching them which leads to endless issues with getting them to show on the desktop again.I've used Macs for years and was involved in IT support before my current job so it's nothing as simple as not knowing how to eject a drive... It's not the drives either as they're recoverable (after a lengthy and boring process of data recovery) from their original caddies, it's simply down to the docking bay failing to do its job.If you value your data or your time you should avoid this like the plague.

Ideal for multiple hhd storage
Despite the item being advertised as a SISUN, the one i received was made by ORICO. Been plugged in now for a few weeks with a collection of 3tb drives inserted and is working perfectly as i write this.All drives are recognised individually and it was just what i was looking for with regard to multiple hdd storage.I'm very happy with it

Total rubbish
Total rubbish. Worked perfectly for about 12 hours. Then started renaming drives. Removing permissions. Not reporting files as existing at all. Reporting files on the wrong drives. Essentially totally mad. I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes. Buy at your own risk!

Not a looker but does everything I could wish for such a unit..individual power on buttons are the bees knees. No connection issues (windows 10).Lights are useful but far to bright (common issue these days with such things) so do a bit of covering up.
