I used a set of these to make the bed in our RV “sit up” so we could watch TV in bed. With some figuring, I was able to make these work well. I did use a 12v power source and a 12v remote control to accomplish the task and we’re very happy with the results. I bought another set and installed them on the storage side of the bed so gaining access to storage is now an easy one man event.
