They can be crushed and still work. I decided to keep mine. I would prefer a solid piece like a hockey puck that would keep its shape through the jacking up the car process. None I researched seemed any better. Nice carrying case and they are definitely necessary so you don’t damage the batteries

It is critically important that you do not insert these into the holes on the battery assembly itself. There are similar holes near the frame rail used to lift the vehicle that can potentially be confused... You risk seriously damaging your vehicle if you do not use the correct lift points (consult your manual to be certain). See attached image.Depending on your jack (please verify the weight rating of your jack before lifting), getting to the lift point is somewhat difficult or potentially damaging to the vehicle. These pads provide much more surface area to evenly lift from and additional clearance for the jack, while also providing protection from damaging the lift rails.These work great, however they do compress more than I'd like on a GT (the Mach-E select I also tested it on did not have as noticeable of compression) but it is relatively minimal... enough to press outward on the nearby plastic without causing any damage.The o-ring makes it a tight enough fit that it isn't falling out while you orient your jack(s). The rubber is quite dense and does not leave residue. The case is good quality, however the foam inside is not adhered so you may lose it easily. The tire repair components are exactly what you'd expect if you've ever used similar products and is a nice inclusion, given most circumstances a consumer would need to lift their vehicle is to either change out seasonal tires or fix a flat.Having some brief experience in tire shops, they use similar pucks to lift vehicles like the Mach-E for ease and to prevent damage. These are consistent with the ones used in a professional environment.

So these work great for giving you a good secure surface to jack your Mach E up with. The offset protrusion on each one fits exactly into the offset hole in the frame of the Mach E that is between the arrow markers for the lift point. You can see from the picture where the offset lines up with the outline of where I placed the puck, which is the perfect location.The protrusions fit perfectly in the holes in the frame, however the o-rings are too large to squeeze into the hole by hand. I tried putting some grease on the o-ring, and this didn't help enough to get it in by hand. If you use your jack, they pop right in...but getting them back out is a pain and requires some wiggling and prying. I guess you could leave these in the hole permanently, I doubt they'd fall out once you get them in...but not what I wanted so I just took the o-ring off and used one puck for all the lift points.I may try to find some smaller o-rings to make it easier to slide in. I really just need them tight enough that they don't fall out before I get the jack under them and start lifting.Overall this is a good set that gives you solid lift points in the right places on the car frame, which is exactly what I needed! I took off a star because they need to make the o-rings slightly smaller to be able to install/remove them by hand.

One of the 'gotchas' of having an electric vehicle is that it can't just be jacked up like a traditional vehicle. This is because the battery is in the bottom of the car and you do not want to puncture that. So, they have these pucks that slot into the frame and give the jack a nice spot to be used with. This is important as some local shops do not know that.I had some issues when changing a tire some shops refused to work on my car because they did not have the correct pads. Thus, I thought it was important to have a set for myself so I would never be left with a flat again. These worked perfectly and were easily recommendable.Fit perfectly in my 2021 Mach E.

These appear to be good quality. However, when it was first delivered, and for a while after it had a terrible smell. I didn’t want to put it in my car until I was sure that it didn’t smell anymore. Once the smell went away, I put it in the car and felt much better about having it in there.
