Check if you are getting a left hand or right hand fitting
There seems to be more than one supplier of these holders. The one I received did not look like the images on Amazon; though it was superficially similar. The holder supplied was for a left hand position; the slot that holds the shower head goes on the left hand side of the rail. That would be fine except I needed it to fit on the right; just like the image on Amazon. (You can't just turn it round as the slot is tapered and only works one way up.)Hard to give a fair star rating the the product seemed fine, just the wring way round.

Bracket can't be used as pictured
No good if you need the shower head to be positioned to the right of the riser rail.The part that holds the shower head can only be used positioned to the left of the riser rail. If it is attached so that the bracket is on the right then either the taper is upside down, or the shower head is too close to the wall to be angled downward.Edit: In fact it turns out that the seller (The Home Store) didn't even send the correct item as pictured so YMMV.

Goes with our shower pole hard to find this one perfect
Arrived Friday just what I was searching for really pleasedto have found the right one thank you so muchperfect just the one we needed our old one had gone loose really pleased when I found this will reorder in month or so,then we will always have spare many thanks Trisha

Surprising result
I needed a replacement as I broke my shower holder, but living in a rented house I didn't want to pay a lot. This was cheap and when it arrived it looked cheap and flimsy. However, it was easy to fit, looks fine on the shower and has done a perfect job for the past few months and all for a tiny outlay. I would definitely recommend this product.

It works!
Easy to fit, this shower head holder replaced a near identical holder which broke but that one was at least 8 years old, so if I get the same period of use from the new one I'll be happy. Its quite light but it seems to perform its function well in holding the shower head at the adjusted angle and height.

Works fine - not expensive
This was bought to replace an Aqualisa unit that would have cost more than £20.00. This perhaps is not so elegant - but the clamping is more positive and I am really pleased with it.

Did not fit upright pole in my bathroom
This product is good and easy to fit. However it did not fit my upright pole for my shower and kept slipping. Also the showerhead would not stay in position .

Wrong size hole.
The quality of the product seems very good; it just has the wrong sized hole for the upright slider bar. This is 1" and needs to be 15mm. Would/will settle for a replacement. Price is OK.
