This really is useless as an alarm clock. Sure it can go off at the time you set, but no snooze button? and its way to complicated to set it. its fine for just a clock... but not for a bedside/alarm clock

I suppose that if you wanted this for only the clock, it looks like it does in the pictures. But I have not been able to get the alarm to sound whatsoever.Setting an alarm requires going through setting the year, month, date, current time, choosing whether you want military time displayed, then setting three alarms and whether you want them on, then setting if you want them to go off on weekdays only or every day. Every one of these options is a new screen and you must cycle through all of them to set one alarm.But then, there’s no AM or PM, so there’s no way the alarm could ever be set properly anyway. How do you set a 6am alarm at 5pm the day before if the clock doesn’t know whether it is am or pm in the first place? So when the alarm didn’t sound, I assumed that was the problem and switched to military time to ensure I was setting an alarm for 2 minutes from then no matter what, just to test it. But no alarm sounded.Furthermore, even if it had AM/PM or worked at all, how would the weekday only alarm work when it doesn’t have you set the day of the week?There isn’t even any off or snooze button on it. I truly think this is a simple clock with menus for alarms added in the software, but no actual alarm built in. It just doesn’t do anything.I suppose someone might like it as a clock, especially someone who wants to know the humidity and temperature of the room the clock is in, NOT outside. It is not connected to a weather satellite for outdoor temps, just has a sensor inside the clock.

Is this allowed? The ratings associated with this clock by Ticktar seems to be from a whole different product altogether and all the ones associated with this product under the type "Wooden Clock - Black" trash it but you won't see those on the product page.

Don't be fooled by the elegant design. The designers of this clock it seems were so busy making it a work of art that they forget you might actually want to use it. Some of the oversights are just ridiculous, like the LITERAL 18 BUTTON PRESSES it takes to toggle an alarm on or off!The build quality is my biggest complaint though. I've been pretty hard on some alarm clocks and it's downright impressive how resilient they are, but not this one. I didn't even abuse it, the thing fell off my night stand and that's all it took for the display to stop working right and the thermometer to become inaccurate just as the 30 day return window passed. On top of that the power adapter is like an old phone that you have to fiddle with to make it work. How do you mess up an alarm clock this bad? How does it have so many good reviews?

Modern? Check. Looks cool? Check. USB charger cord? Check. So why 2 stars? This "alarm clock" is very user un-friendly. You literally have to click thru 8-14 different menu options just to find your alarm setting, and confirm whether or not you set it for the next day (or change it!). And, while yes, that 5 workday alarm feature is cool, the instructions never told us that the "dot" meant PM and not AM... (yes it varies by clock) ... so we had our time and alarms all off by 12 hours, so got a Saturday morning alarm but not a Monday morning. Instructions are junk. The cord isn't even that solid... it just shut off for no reason the other night, and i had to forcefully plug it back in to get it stop flickering / shutting down. I hope it stays alive for more than a month at this point.

This is my 3rd purchase of this clock, first from EBay, second from Amazon, then this from Amazon. So, evidently, I like the clock. Aside from the main reason I bought it, TIME (maybe DATE). The design and style is elegant in my opinion - the wood is very light and fancy-looking/feel. The display is large enough such that it is readable few meters away. The LED L1-2 are just enough for my application, L3 is rather too bright (but very nice to have). I don't care for the alarm, so I never use that function - I can't comment on it. After using similar clocks for few months, the time is accurate as well as temperature reading.Design Flaws:x4 AAA batteries that runs down rather FAST! Why not x1 9v?DATE/TIME are better on same display - TEMP/HUMIDITY on anotherUnfortunately, this was sent unit WITHOUT charger! Luckily, I have older charger around - so, not worth hassle of contacting seller/returns etc. Obviously, I was sent unit that was already opened - from torn wrapper etc. That's the reason for my 3 point. Otherwise, the clock is a 4-5 pointer.

BUYER BEWARE! Do NOT buy this piece of junk!I bought this mainly because of the design. First of all it comes with no instructions. I was never able to dim or brighten it. After a week one of the numbers on the display disappeared and two days later they all disappeared and it stopped working!I read the negative reviews and ignored them because people were mostly complaining about the alarm and all I needed was a clock to display the time in my living room. This is a piece of junk! Two thumbs down!!!

It does everything it says but if you are buying this as an alarm don't. The alarm goes off for less than a minute and is this very quite beeping sound aseticly it is nice. Functionality you would be better off buying a rooster to wake you up
