Seems to work pretty well. Definitely creates that small light ring in your eyes that is so desired today. I have to kind of clip it onto the corner of my phone because otherwise it is in the way of my front camera (Samsung S6 active). It's pretty easy to operate and I haven't had to change the battery yet. I will say though that it is kind of brittle-feeling. I bought a little case and hot-glued some foam inside to keep it safe in my purse, and that seems to work well. It's so fragile-looking tht I just don't trust it on it's own in the black abyss that is my purse lol. Overall, I'd say it's a good product but be wary for drops.

I bought the selfie ring for my daughter and she loves it!!! Taking selfies and making videos to share our products with the world via social media (FB, etc.) is a huge part of our business, so it's VERY IMPORTANT that we have GOOD LIGHTING! Inspiration can happen anytime of the day or night and our selfie ring gives us the AMAZING LIGHTING we need when natural lighting is not an option (inspiration for selfies and videos may happen at any time)! We absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE our OCTHANON SELFIE RING LIGHT! It has three settings so you get the perfect lighting needed!!! It's so lightweight and small enough to take with you anywhere you go! If you're looking for an affordable lighting system, that works great and is easy to use, then this product is for you!!!

Item works so far, no complaints. I'll be using this to vlog with my Gopro. I'll do my best to remember to do a follow up in a month. Seller also contacted me for a follow up, I thought that was pretty darn good customer service. I'd recommend this product if you're looking for that "halo" effect in your eyes too.edit* My light doesn't have a case like some others have received. I just got the package it came in, a smaller box that held the light, and inside the smaller box was a "paper" pouch. Not a big deal for me as I can toss this inside of a cloth sunglass case. However, if you're a stickler for things like that, then purchase at your own risk. I still dig it...

At first, I was a bit skeptical to purchase this item especially with the lack of reviews, however, I am very happy that I did! Shipping was fast and it came before I was expecting it. I really love the mini ring light ive been using it non stop to take pics as well as record youtube vids. It gives me that professional look. Deff would recommend this product!The only con would be the light flicked alot when i first turned it on, i switched out the batteries and now it works fine. Just not sure if that has something to do with the longevity of the lights or a bad set of batteries. @kaybella__

I at first had trouble understanding that there were two charging cable ends, coupled together. When I uncoupled them, I had no trouble charging the light. I can only suggest now that the instructions be written more clearly.

The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is it is so much bigger than I expected. But honestly it made a HUGE difference with my Iphone 6 photos. As you know Iphone takes TERRIBLE photos, this actually helps them to be bright and not grainy.

Bought this for my mom and she really likes it. I only have a small complaint and would like to know if we could get a replacement, the button is kind of glitched now and it is hard to turn it on and it goes straight into the brightest setting and it seems to be flickering now.

I really love this light! I am VERY enthusiastic about make up and am keen to take good quality selfies after a particular experiment. Usually I find that a) the make up is not very clear in pictures, especially subtly blended areas and b) the colours never come out the same. However, BOTH of these problems were solved by this ring light.The light itself is very easily attached to the top of my phone and is well made, I didn't have to worry about it damaging the surface of my phone in any way. It is a bright white light with three different intensity settings. It has a single button that is pressed to turn it on, then to second brightness, then to the brightest setting and then off. Very easy to use. It does require 2 x AAA batteries that are not included.In the photos below I have shown how the look varies between different intensities and as I mentioned earlier, the photos WITH the light are a truer reflection of colour.I was not comfortable showcasing my face but I assure you that it makes your makeup look much better, more glowing and precise.I highly recommend this to those of you who like me, want high quality selfies at all times ;)I received this product at a discounted rate in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.

Good light. Have a Note 8 and it clears the camera, but only without a case on. Produces good light. Can be used for front or back camera. I don't use it for selfies. Works well for close up shots of nails. I'm a nail tech and this is what I use it for.

All I can say is "Wow". Innovative. 3 lightIng intensities/settings. I can't wait to try it out. Then I will move it from a 4 star to a 5 star without blinking.The Ocathnon selfie ring arrived super fast almost like using a Delivery Express service without paying the additional cost.Takes 2 AAA batteries not provided but I like that option better than using cell batteries.

I feel like I wasted my money here. It doesn't give you that halo eye effect unless you hold it directly up to you face. Like REALLY close to your face. It's a cool light so if you have light or medium skin, it'll make you look blue and pale. It fits nicely on my S7 with a case and it's okay for extra light, hence the 2 stars but as a selfie light, it's complete garbage. Doesn't recharge so you'll be going through a lot of batteries for it.Bottom line. It makes lighting terrible, don't bother.
