I almost returned the frother due to the milk consistently overflowing with each use because I didn't quite understand or see how to properly use it. Using a flashlight I was finally able to see that the two maximum fill lines applied to different purposes. The lowest fill line is the minimum amount of milk necessary to operate. The middle line is the maximum fill for frothing. The top fill line is the maximum fill line for heating milk without frothing. I'm thrilled to cancel the return because the heated whole milk froth is so creamy and delicious in coffee. I won't want half & half nearly as often now.

The milk pours out as hot foam, exactly as described.The whisk attaches securely to the shaft -- after I noticed that I should remove the smooth cover that ships on the shaft and store it in the lid -- and whips 2% milk into a half pitcher of hot foam with little liquid left. I skimp the milk to barely touch the level of the whisk and it still works perfectly.The coating inside the pitcher is non-stick; it appears to be Teflon or the like. Even so milk adheres to the surface and cannot be rinsed off. Instead I use a wooden spatula to carefully scrape off the coating now and then. Otherwise the coating tends to build up and toast with repeated use.If it proves durable over time I can recommend it without reservations.

I love this milk foamer. I had for over a year now and didn't give me any troubles. I usually only use the effect to foam and warm up mild and while it is not hard to clean, they is always some milk stuck to the ground that needs an extra wash. Other than that I love it!!

when i first got this i was underwhelmed. i kept frothing multiple times just to get decent froth. I decided to replace the top frother on the lid and instead put it at the bottom and yes this did the trick. now my froth is insanely fast and smooth and delicious. u cannot go past the max line or you will have overflow. if u decide to make hot chocolate or heat your entire coffee here u got to take the metal frother out. but otherwise this is soooo good.

For the price this product is great. It doesn't quite compare to the $169 brands but it heats the milk QUIETLY and provides a frothing option the really creates the foam. Keep in mind however that frothing does not heat the milk/cream.

Warm and frothes milk very well. Does warm the milk too much on the bottom and leaves a firm film you have to scrub off every time you use it but the price is right and worth the scrubbing trouble.

I thought if wouldn't do because it didn't cost 100 bucks. It's bigger than my old dead frother, but works perfect every time. Easy to clean as it's lined with non-stick. I don't store it on the base and clean it every time I use it. It froths big fluffy foam with very little milk. Wonderful product.

I loved this milk frother--quiet, easy enough to clean, worked really well. But then it stopped working 10 days shy of a year from when I ordered it, though all connection points are clean.
