RCAWD FCX24 Portal Axles Kit & Differential Locker for FMS 1/18 LC80 K5 Front Rear Portal Axle 1/24 FCX24 Upgrades Part

I like RCAWD products, I think they are very good looking and easily on par with the other aftermarket makers for 1/24 stuff. But these axles sucked out the box. Missing two bearings in rear axle then the front diff was binding over a few teeth on each rotation. I tried to replace with RCAWD replacement diff, same problem. I would have returned if i had caught it before i assembled my build. I ended up putting a fms metal replacement in works perfect now. I would recommend just buying the housing if u like the look and get the gearing directly from fms. The general finish on the product was very nice.

These are complete Upgraded Axels. They have everything* you would buy separately all in one.Axels come with the Open Differentials installed, but contained the Locking differentials. I have swapped mine for Locking.Everything was Greased!*Overdrive Gears pre-installed (15T/20T)! These came stock with the Overdrive gears. Note, All 4 corners are Overdrive.I swaped my rear portal gears to stock (14T/21T). So now I have Overdrive only in the front.If I do another FCX24 build, I would absolutely purchase again.

Rear right axle keeps getting loose. Something is happening inside the right rear portal that is making the wheel loose traction.once you open and close it it works for a couple minutes then it is loose again. I would like to request an exchange.
