I bought these because we are tired of the rug in our front hall not lying flat, and tired of tripping over it. I actually believed the description of how well these worked. After putting them on my rug and pressing it firmly to the floor I was so pleased - for about 10 minutes - when the rug popped back up! I tried over and over to make the carpet stay down, even following the directions on how to remove and reposition the sticky pads. They simply would not stick to the carpet. When I went to remove them from the floor, which they did stick to, I had to use a scraper to get the glue off my hardwood floors. Not a happy camper! Not only am I out the cost of 2 packs of these but, my carpet still is sticking up. Save your money, use something else. I would have returned them but had a hard time getting the gluey mess off the hardwood - threw them out.

A must have for any home! Wonderful product for keeping our rugs in place on our hard flooring home! High quality 3M sticky strips that firmly holds to rugs and floor. Having pets in our home, our rugs slide and move around while they run and play. But not with this product... our pets can play and run across the rugs and the rugs stay in place! Very amazing product. Easy to use. Just remove strip covers on each side of the gripper and place one side on rug, then the rug in the desired placing on the floor and the other side of the strip holds the rug firmly in place on the floor. The angles at each end of the strip make an easy "V" for the corners of all our square rugs. It seems that the strip is thick enough to keep the rug from curling up and yet thin enough for a sweeper to move over the rug. Can not feel the strip under the rug; just makes everything firm and more secure. These are reusable which means that they are likely the last rug grippers I will need! I am very happy and highly recommend this product :)

The product comes with 12 pieces of grippers and they are about 6 inches long each. They are big enough to hold a large rug in the kitchen and they work great! No more annoying slipping rugs during cooking! I also like them because they are reusable, removable and washable!! I always go for eco-friendly stuff.

I purchased these grippers to hold down three rugs I had recently purchased that did not have a non-slip backing. They do the job - my rugs stay in place, don't curl up, and when I vacuum the rugs they don't lift. The grippers don't seem to leave any residue on my hardwood floors, either. However, they don't stick very well to the jute back on the rugs. When I need to move the rugs or pull them up to clean under them, I will need to purchase new grippers. They adhere very well to the floor because it is smooth, but don't stay adhered to the rug - as I discovered when I needed to pull the rug back up slightly to straighten it in one spot. For now, they are holding my rug down just fine and I have no further need to move the rug right now - but when I do, they are going to un-adhere to the rug and because of rug residue on that side of the gripper - I highly doubt they will stick to the rug again.

Used 2 per corner, as shown, on my rubber backed doormat (Andersen 221 Waterhog Fashion Diamond Polypropylene Fiber Entrance Indoor/Outdoor Floor Mat, SBR Rubber Backing, 3' Length x 2' Width, 3/8" Thick) which was constantly shifting in the entryway driving my OCD self nuts. Properly prepped back first with soap and water and alcohol. So far after a couple of weeks the mat hasn't shifted at all. Not a huge amount of traffic here, but the wheelchair moves stuff around a lot just going over it. So far very pleased with the results. Will see how well it continues to stick to the mat and stay unmoved on the vinyl floor over a longer period of time. But so far better than hoped for.

The product works well on my hall rug. Using this to keep the ends from curling up and causing someone to trip. The hall runner has a gripper rug pad but the corners kept turning up, adding these keeps them down and smooth, unless of course our 2 year old grandson decides he wants to pull up the rug (he's a brute). :-)

Works well at first, but doesn’t restick even when cleaned properly. We left our rug for several months stuck onto the floor with the grippers but when it came time to clean our rug and floors properly it lifted a little and we cleaned the gripper SEVERAL TIMES to get it to restick and we had 0 luck. Pretty upset about it.

These hold rugs very well--they don't budge. But when they have to be moved, it's necessary to be pretty careful not to accidentally remove the gripper from the rug instead of from the floor. Knowing that, however, it's not hard to be prepared to protect the gripper from coming loose from the rug.
