This thing is sturdy! We ended up hanging our food, cooking supplies, clothes we cooked in and hiking boots that we cooked in with this "blanket" the loops at the corners must be sewn pretty well because we had 4 peoples clothing and boots and already mentioned supplies wrapped up. Im sure hanging your items to keep bears and other animals is not what this thing was intended for but it worked and held up great!

We used this on Hilton Head Island and it was great. I was surprised how easily it cleaned up and fit back into the bag.

GREAT PRODUCT!!! Small enough to fit in your pocket but an ideal size when it's open. Not too small. Durable good quality. Took it on a Turkey scouting trip...wet ground and rainy. This product really is 100% waterproof!! Four corner pockets are unique to this product as well..as not all blankets like this has them. Also has unique stake loops, and you can put rocks, sand, etc. in the corner pockets to help keep weight down. Finally, you get a free carabiner (little perk that goes a long way)! LOVE this product!!

I know a lot of reviews on Amazon come from people who received a product at a discount or even free. I paid full price for these blankets and am writing this review because they truly are awesome.I ordered two and will definitely be adding more a day gifting then to my friends and family.First off this blanket is actually water-PROOF, not just resistant. That is huge for me both in a camping/hiking/survival situation and also just for sitting around the campfire or at a concert. Most blankets soak through very quickly, not this one; it keeps me totally dry. I can use it as a shelter or rain fly if needed and I feel confident I will stay dry.Secondly I love the grommets for staking it down and also the sand pockets. These pockets are often overlooked but are actually very smart. I don't always have stakes on me, like out with the family or just around our firepit or at the beach, but if it's windy I can grab some rocks or sand and pack the sand pockets at each corner and viola, a sturdy windproof blanket virtually anywhere.If you like being outdoors for any reason, grab a couple of these. They pack down tiny and literally will fit in your pocket. Throw them in your hiking, hunting, school or beach bag.

This is perfect for my hunting backpack. I use it for ground cover under my light weight shelter tarp to keep myself and gear dry in the rainy Pacific Northwest forest. It is very easy to roll back up and put it into its small storage bag.

I bought this to take to Dog Obedience Trials to put under my soft crate and my gear. I've used it once for that purpose. I like the fact that it is compact, lightweight and waterproof. I just really wish the bag was bigger. It is a challenge folding it back up just right so I can stuff it in this tiny bag. There are fold lines in the blanket to follow but it is still hard to figure out what order to fold in to get it back to the original size.

This is the perfect size for our family when we go out exploring. Great quality for the price. You can't go wrong with this blanket. I am going to order 2 more so I can have a spare in each vehicle. I hate forgetting to bring chairs to a soccer game, now I won't have a wet/dirty bottom if that happens.

Packs down small. Perfect to stick in the car or take in purse/suitcase anywhere. I used it on a trip to Yellowstone in August. Great size, can use on the damp ground without worrying about a damp butt! I'm considering purchasing another and giving a couple as stocking stuffers.
