Purchased as a replacement for the remote unit that came with some led lights that were strung on copper. Those were listed as outside capable, but both units receivers quickly rusted and quit working. These seem to be working much better right from the start. Hopefully they will not rust and quit working. The range is outstanding, lighting both the lights in front of the house as well as the back of the house at the same time. An unanticipated benefit!Will update review if these quit working.

Remote worked to dim lights after first installing. Now the remote doesn’t do anything a few hours later. I tried a different remote ( I bought two of the same). Still not working. This is my first day to use this product.After receiving directions on how to reset the remote it started working however I have to reset the remote 2-3 times a day to keep it working.

Both remotes work well. Unfortunately they both use the same frequency so they both can"t be used in the same area. I have two different light groups that are close together that I would like to use different remotes for.

I had added LED strip lights to a cabinet and used a 12V power brick to power the lights. Adding this controller between the power brick and LED light strip now permits me to turn the lights on and off without unplugging the brick. You can also dim the lights or make them flash. Good product. Only needed one this time but I'm sure I'll need the other one someday.

One remote receiver (for dimming and controlling 12V LED white strip) refused to work, DOA.One remote transmitter worked fine, the other one showed some issues and finally worked after cursing at it for awhile.Cheap enough to buy with the expectation that you might get one working system (TX and RX) out the two you bought!
