I had my reservations that this thing would work, but - it DID. Was it a direct line where the neighbor's dog barks all the time, I turn this on and it stops? No. However, I am not constantly annoyed while I try to enjoy my HUGE backyard. I am not in my office PO'd that I can hear the dogs next door. WOW! it is really great!What happens now, after I installed this product? Well, the one big dog comes out and barks, but he stops within about 1/2 to 1 minute, tops. Or he gets a bark or two out and stops. When the pack (last count, these people had 11 dogs: 2 large, the rest Chihuahua types) of yappers comes out, they go at it but it does stop (plus the mom yells at them).Result: I am happy. The neighbors dogs do not DRIVE ME CRAZY anymore. Only thing I have done is install this thing on the wall between our properties. Get a garden variety air horn too, just to reinforce things at the beginning, both for the dogs and the idiots who refuse to control their animals' behaviors.

I was having a real problem with my class A diesel motorhome as squirrels had decided that living on top of my engine was the way to go. It's amazing the kind of damage they can cause, especially to wiring. After chasing them off, moving my vehicle and trying all of the spray deterrents without any luck, I decided to give this a try and boy am I glad that I did. I tested the thing in my backyard but it seemed rather ineffective when it was in the "ultra sonic" mode. Fortunately, under the hood of my motorhome I could crank the volume all of the way up in sonic mode and yeah, it's loud. In my case, I could set the sensitivity and the volume all of the way up and boy has that kept the little buggers out. I no longer have to worry about them chewing my wires as there are no more signs of them and no more poop on my engine!

My dogs bark continuously with this on. It does not bother them at all. I have tried all of the levels of bark sensitivity. Every extra sound sets the device off as well so I’m guessing the dogs get used to hearing the sound so it looses it’s effectiveness. Please don’t waste your money on this product. I missed the return time so I am stuck with it. If you really want to try one I will sell you mine that is in new condition for half price!!!

waste of money, controls cheaply made, did not stop dogs from barking

I have a very loud, high pitched, panic/separation anxiety type barking dog a few houses down. 3 button presses and the dog stops barking (I turned the sensitivity all the way down so I choose when to activate the device). The neighbors dogs right next to me get a click or two when it's more than just regular dog barking. This is amazing, my friends are buying them now too after I've told them about it and gow great it works. I consider this a tool for me to train my neighbors dogs (since they didnt) to be normal dogs and not bark as much. Great purchase!

Interesting device which clear got my dogs attention and repealed him; however seveal of the features appear to either not work or I cant read. There seems to me no way to turn off the motion sensor. So I tried duck tape over it. That worked but the bark sensitivity settings dont do low enough. Noise in the house sets it off, which just confuses the dog as he didnt bark. If you need this thing to go off no matter what, its great. For training, its not so good.

I have had this for some time now. It does not work. Save Your money. Dogs still barking away right next to it. It can be going off to where does should be not barking. And Dogs do not even notice that it is on.
