Quality read
Every concept, theory and methodology explained in short and reader friendly chapters. Prefer this book above most. Will help immensely with my Master's studies.

Helpful, short and informative but printed badly
This was a good intro to the basics, content wise. However, the book itself includes pages 1-228 and then after page 228 prints pages 50-228 yet again. I was very confused to initially see an index in the middle of the book! Slightly annoying as the book is much bigger than anticipated. Something has either gone very wrong with the print PDF supplied to the printer or this is a print on demand mishap. As the book is clearly bigger than intended it also means the spine is now out of line and some of the front cover artwork appears round the bend of the spine. Also, slightly annoying to hold a much bigger book. Definitely needs to be looked into by the publisher/printer.

Is anyone going to mention the massive fault?
Good book, plenty of solid information, and will certainly be useful across my current projects, but why isn’t any talking about the huge chunk of repeated pages? After page 228 in the Index section, it goes straight back to page 50 talking about stakeholders and continues with the original print till page 228 again.Maybe this was a huge troll, given the line on the back cover: “Project mishaps are all too common, but often easy to avoid.”

Why is half the book repeated?
Bit disappointed really. It is knowledgeable but i was looking for more in depth which it didnt do. Very very basic stuff. Also the book is repeated, after the index the book starts again at page 50! So weird. The book should be half the size.

Good Refresher and Well Written
I enjoyed reading this book as a refresher on some key project management principles. It's not too long or too cumbersome like some tomes I have read in the past and is a handy 'bookshelf book' to pull out when needed. The language is relatively informal which is a good thing in my opinion. I found the 'Project Manager as Leader' a good chapter as motivation, managing conflict and virtual teams are all key areas to focus on to be successful. Whilst a good, solid book it isn't exceptional and so giving it 4 rather than 5 *'s.

Good book, poor print quality
Good clear guidelines to project management with some helpful tips however printing of the book is faulty with pages 50 onwards being duplicated after the index. poor print quality.
