I found only one of the sound settings wakeful others all too soft one even soothing. But that sound plus the increasing light does get my attention in morning. I set it up high across the room from bed since I sleep such that eyes are at least partly in that direction and it is much more noticeable. On bedside table if I wasn’t facing that way didn’t always effect meTime digital big enough to read but not so bright it keeps me awake. Orange tinge does not seem to get attention but still legible. Blue and red Leigh’s seem to keep me awake on other clocksI stay with the yellowish light ring. It does have other color settingsEverything works good. Radio is very basic unit with dangling wire antenna so don’t expect much there beyound something to wake you. Tuning is slow but setting a channel that wakes you not difficult

We purchased the clock for our daughter. We thought it was great with the mood light and all of the different sounds. After using this product for almost a month, the sounds and alarm are no longer working. We are Disappointed!!!

I just got this clock but I love it so far. I love that it doubles as a bedside reading light and that the wake up sounds are enough to wake me up but aren't jarring. As someone who has lived near the ocean for my entire life, I agree with another reviewer that the ocean sound is a bit wanting. Had the sound bite been slightly longer it would've been better. As it is, it's okay, just not great. I love the other sounds; the music with frogs in the background woke me up this morning, with the sunrise feature really seeming to help a lot. I'm a deep sleeper and not a morning person, but I found the wake up light to be pleasant. My only complaint is that some of the buttons are kind of wonky, not doing what they're supposed to do right away. I didn't have any trouble figuring out how to use the clock, but sometimes it takes a few tries to get the buttons to work; it's like they're on a delay. I love the light color choices, the clock is super cute on my nightstand (aka, stack of books next to my bed), and it woke me up great this morning!UPDATE- I still really like this clock a few months down the road. But, I wish the snooze feature was better. If you accidentally hit any other button atop the clock (which is very easy to do) the alarm won't go off again. I've overslept a few times because of this.

I really like this lamp, however I wish there was a way to have the numbers be dinner in the night as they can wake me up. The alarm helps wake me up gradually so I’m not as grumpy in the morning and feel like I’m not startled when I wake up. Definitely recommend!

The sound and brightness are pretty good, but it's confusing to use, and the snooze button is hard to distinguish with one hand without looking while half asleep. Also the alarm occasionally doesn't go off, which challenges the very idea of this as an alarm clock.

Pretty clock. Radio sounds good. Nice size. Wake sounds are nice. Sunrise and sunset functions are sort of fun. Light touch of controls, especially turning off alarm, is good feature. 12 hour or 24 hour display. Snooze button.However, volume to the radio cannot be turned down low enough; the start of the sunrise mode is too bright; the colored lights are too bright and cannot be dimmed; colored lights cannot be used for sunrise or sunset; radio is an auto scan and auto set function so you can't choose which stations to assign to the numbers.Has some great features but would like lower volume and light levels available.

I changed my rating because my initial posting was based upon my sons usage. Today I got it out to try to set it up and found OOSLA alarm clock on YouTube for the instructions. It’s loud, the lights great and it picks up local radio stations. Great purchase!

I loved this clock! Great way to wake up. But it stopped working after two months. One day I saw the clock was just scrolling through the time at a high speed. Now I can’t get it to reset the time. Disappointed as I’ll miss having the clock.
