These really are effective!
These crutch grips really do provide that much needed cushioning effect and gives your hands some respite from the hard and painful plastic handles. They are difficult to slide on to the handles but with a bit of effort, they do go on. If they were easy to get on they wouldn't have the desired effect and would keep spinning around on the handle. So a little patience and they will go over the lip of the handle.I'm a good two months into using them for non bearing and now partial weight bearing and they are holding up fine.So if you need relief from the inevitable pain that crutches cause, I would certainly recommend trying these.

Excellent if they lasted
I'm now on my 3rd set of these in 9 months. They are fantastic for avoiding sore hands and blisters associated with crutches. I see lots of people who have crutches staring at them but they're all afraid to ask me what they are which is a shame. They could be freed from pain! I've tried zip on and stick on covers and even pipe lagging but were all no good. These are shaped at the top to fit your hand. There's no instructions as to which way round to fit them so I have them with the logo facing inwards. I'm sure that's not the companies intention but they don't feel right the other way round. They dropped a star though because they don't last. They soon crack on the inside, then break and slide off quite soon but it's a small price to pay to avoid hand agony. I've got small size of these on kowsky crutches with normal grip handle at the moment. Because these have a larger bit at the end of the grip, they're not slipping off at all. Small size oarsome grip fits nhs and German crutches that I have tried.

Doesn't Fit
1 star is too generous for a product that doesn't function as intended.Shocked that this item doesn't fit my crutches, and that it isn't eligible for a return. The hole is too small to fit over the raised end of the crutches. I could force it on, but fear the crutches would be damaged as a lot of force is required.

Much easier on the hands
Got these for mum as she was so struggling with the NHS crutches and standard grips. She said although these were INCREDIBLY tricky to get on, (her husband did it, and did submerge in hot hot water first as advised) they have made her a lot more comfortable crutching about. Not totally pain free in the hands but a vast improvement.

Good Grip.
Does the job but I'm getting fed up as It keep twisting around after a walk facing the other way around, but it hass very good grip and has stoped the sores, corns and blisters from appering on my hands.

Comfortable
Bought these for my daughter who needed crutches after suffering a severe ankle sprain. The new crutches where making her hands sore until we fitted these grips. Really comfortable

Crutch grips
They help soften the pressure and are better than using the crutches without them. They do work there way off the handle as you use them which is irritating. I don't think they are worth as much as I paid for them.

Brilliant product
These work brilliantly & make such a difference to being on crutches. After one week of being on standard crutches my hands were sore & blistered, I tried all sorts of home made solutions (foam pipe lagging etc) to try to make the NHS crutches more comfortable but everything i tried only gave comfort for a few days. After 2wks I bought these (followed the sizing advice in other people's review comments) and they made the next 7wks considerable easier. I wouldn't wish injury/being on crutches on anyone but if you do find yourself in that situation, spend £20 & get some of these it'll make a huge amount of difference to you in that you won't have to worry about sore hands as well.
