Red Oak 16-Inch Rustic Vintage Metal & Wood Silent Non-Ticking Decorative Wall Clock with Large Roman Numerals

This clock is amazing and easy to set up. The timing is so accurate and the metal and wood are really nice quality.

I bought this clock to replace another one and was skeptical. My other clock had a deeper depth, Arabic numerals, and a cover over the front so the hands weren't exposed. However, once I got this one and hung it up, I loved it. It fits my decor perfectly, and it is so quiet. There is ZERO ticking. I questioned weather it was working, but it is and accurately. The contrast between the background and hands makes it easy to see from farther away. It looks as pictured, except for the wood grain will vary by clock. It says to use a Carbon Zinc or Heavy duty battery, I'm using an Alkaline, and it's working fine. This is a great clock for the cost.

Beautiful clock and I was excited to hang and it looked great. Unfortunately , the actual clock on back is broke only about a month of having purchased. It makes loud clicking noises and the actual hands don’t move. It isn’t the battery

The seller recommends using a carbon zinc battery. However, after readying many reviews about carbon zinc batteries I decided NOT to use that kind. Most reviews were bad.I have been using a standard alkaline AA battery in the clock and it works fine.I am very pleased with the clock.

It is made of a thick circle cut out of a grooved plywood material. The face appears to be clear pine wood with a matte finish, and looks like it has been lightly and evenly burned with a blowtorch to make the wood grain stand out - it doesn't look like stain but I could be wrong. The metal overlay with the Roman numerals gives it a 3-D effect. It is indeed silent. I have it in my bedroom and can't hear it at all. It keeps time. It's the right size to see the time from across the room. I like it and I might get another one for my kitchen.

{Orignal 9/17/18]I've had this for 2 weeks. I'll try to remember to get back on here if this ever stops keeping time. But basically, it came just how it looks, and for the first 2 weeks, it has kept time perfectly (But there is a lot of fudge room on this, as there are no minute marks). I did buy a pack of the special carbon zinc batteries on Amazon (Panasonic Heavy Duty AA Battery 4 Pack = $4.14).A bonus to really seal the deal on 5 stars is that it came with a really nifty wall mount. It has 4 pins/pegs in it so you can securely attach it to drywall (anywhere, no finding studs) without it loosing over time. I don't know that much about clocks, maybe that's the norm, but [the engineering side of me] was impressed. If the clock ever goes bad I'll leave the wall mount up there and put a new clock on it.
