Tea should always be enjoyed in a glass mug! It tastes so much better. My mugs just arrived and I used the microwave to heat my water. It worked just fine, and it is dishwasher safe as long as you don’t cram it in with something constantly hitting it. It is made of tempered glass so it’s plenty strong for normal use. I knew exactly how large it would be when I ordered it but I still wish it was just a little bit larger. I like to linger with my tea/coffee. I have seen larger glass mugs on Amazon but I’m afraid you then must give up the beautiful thin and graceful mug this is, for stability. I’m very happy and should they break for ANY reason, don’t blame the mug. Blame yourself and get a new one••••• for those special moments. I have one of the little mug warmers on my table and it fits just fine. It’s completely flat on the bottom•••••and one more thing…..the handle is comfortable & “done right”!

Delicate glass mugs.
The mugs are pretty and functional. The glass is not as thick as other glass mugs that I owned. I wonder about their durability.

How it pours liquid into a one-inch feeding tube
When my favorite thin-walled, clear-glass, light-weight, drinking mug accidentally broke I searched for an equivalent replacement. Its mouth was 3.5 inches wide, and its thin-lip design could pour liquid into a one-inch feeding tube without dribbling liquid all over everything. I can’t remember what its brand name was. I searched on Amazon and tried the three candidates below.I tried the 14oz PARACITY Clear-Glass Coffee Mug and found that the glass is much thicker and heavier by comparison. Although its mouth is 3.5 inches wide like the one I lost, and although it may be more durable, water goes everywhere when I pour it into a one-inch feeding tube. Topped off, however, it will hold closer to 15oz.I tried the 15oz AOEOE Clear-Glass Coffee Mug. Its glass design is thinner than the PARACITY cup but thicker than the one that I lost. Its mouth is 3.3 inches wide. It may be a little more durable than the mug that I lost, but water dribbles everywhere when I pour it into a one-inch feeding tube. Topped off, though, it will hold 16oz.I tried the 16oz BOQO Clear-Glass Coffee Mug and found that its glass design is thinner than the AOEOE, much like the one that I lost, but its mouth is only 3.14 inches wide. Its thin lip design allows me to pour water into a one-inch feeding tube with less spilling than the others. Topped off, however, it only holds 15oz.For my purposes, I have chosen to keep the “16oz" BOQO Clear-Glass Coffee Mugs that hold 15oz and to keep looking for one like the one I lost which had no spilling.

Great glass cups!
I have had these for a while now and they are fabulous. It's pretty thin glass but very sturdy. I have been drinking hot tea out of them for months. The handle doesn't get hot and they are easy to drink from. I like the look of the clear glass. Great Buy!

Cheap
The plastic is so thin that I thought they were plastic when I first took them out of the box. Absolutely brutal!

Sturdy and useful.
I was purchasing crystal cups that were wide at the top and slim at the bottom. They looked great but were very fragile and I eventually broke them.I saw these and thought I would give them a try. These mugs are sturdy and hold two cups of coffee from my automatic phillips with room to spare. I must say I have knocked it offl my table but it wasn’t damaged. On carpet but my other cups wouldn’t have survive.I am very pleased and still have both.

Great, until they cracked
Loved these cups! However they are not sturdy. I brought them in January and as of today (September about 9 months later) they have both cracked and sprung leaks and are no longer useable.
