Difficult review, because functionally, I think this mat ticks all the boxes. The problem is the dreadful smell of the rubber, which is as though someone has lit a tyre in my room. It stinks the whole place out and it makes your hands stink when handling it. I've taken to keeping it in a sealed bag and keeping it in a storage room when not in use.I've read online that the dreadful smell is as a result of cheap rubber being used. If you consider the high-end of rubber products e.g. latex gloves for clinical use - they have hardly any smell at all. I'm seriously considering ditching this product and finding one that doesn't smell. I've noticed they cost a lot more, but that's probably the price for quality.

Ordered what i though was gonna be a good size , as depicted in the picture , after checking the other sizes available there is no size difference when each size is clicked , so really no size chart perspective, anyways i though ohhh cheap enough and i need an ESD was cheap so i thought,,, well it arrived and well tbh its about the same size as my mouse mat, little shocked pic showed bigger size another Marketing trick to fool the consumer, anyways ive ordered a bigger one from different company that actually shows size difference,,, buyer get a tape and check sizes are picture referance on sellers page are all the same pics :( for mouse mat size not worth what i paid tbh

The mat is a neat, compact size but, as other reviewers have said, it does have a strong rubber smell. I threaded a piece of string through the contact stud hole and hung mine outside (on the back door handle!) for three days, which dissipated the smell. The cord, even though coiled, is quite short and is stretched to reach the power socket just over three feet away, but it does the job as required.

Useful anti-static mat. A bit strong smelling out of the box, but it gassed off in a couple off days. It fits well on my desk - it doesn't cover the whole desk, but is wide enough for what I need it for. .

I needed an ESD mat for small ham radio projects but didn't want one that covered my entire desk. This one is a perfect size for the job, the quality is first class and the supplier dispatched it within one hour of ordering. You cannot ask for more than that! Thank you very much.

Excellent size and well manufactured, not had a chance to use the mat yet but my initial impression is that it will meet my needs. As others have said it does have a very strong smell out of the packaging but that clears quickly and doesn't affect the items use.

Item as described. My only complaint is check the actual size you need before ordering. I found mine too small and can't fit everything.

Plenty large enough for the things I make and repair which are micro sized circuit boards.Does not take up to much Bench space when you have lot of other gear on it.
