The stainless steel potato ricer is a nice, heavy-duty item that seems like it will stand up well to regular use. We refer to make all our mashed potatoes by hand to avoid additives and the high salt content of the pre-made or boxed stuff, and I've been mashing by hand. This makes it so much easier and quicker. But even better is all the other uses I didn't consider until I received the box with suggestions. For example, the smallest interchangeable disk is *perfect* for pressing the liquid out of blanched spinach. One of our family's favourites is creamed spinach with parsnips, and I usually squeeze all the water out of the spinach wrapped in paper towels--it's a waste of towels and it takes a long time, but this did it quickly without the extra waste of the towels.I can't wait to try out gnocchi, and other roasted or boiled items that I usually put in the food processor. This will require a lot less cleaning and hassle for smaller projects!

The only thing that keeps me from 5 stars is the BOX that the ricer comes in says there is an an additional inner cup. It is not mentioned in the online description so did not expect one, but if I was picking this up at a brick and mortar store I would be talking to a manager. (see photo attached)

I bought this because I was having my tonsils removed. Thinking I would be able to mash different kinds of fruit and vegetables. Even after making them soft in the microwave .I was not able to get it to work. Had tried all three of the disks. Very disappointed.

Did not like it when you use it and open to put more stuff in the plates come out and any food in comes out and I have a mess. I will donate

Used at Thanksgiving to strain potatoes. Bottom kept coming out after each load. Had to readjust the masher every time we loaded.

Only use for the mash potato so far, works great.it is very easy to wash and clean.I am ready for the holiday cooking!!!

I got this for a gift . my mother=in=law introduced me to a ricer 50+ years ago..... and I love it.... especially if you are fixing potatoes for a dinner and you feel what you have isn't quite enough...... this willl fluff up the potatoes..... heheeee

Have only used once so far but it worked great for ricing cooked potatoes. Next up is cauliflower, but the quality of the product gives me confidence that it will be just fine to use for this as well.

Ottimo attrezzo, resistente e in acciaio inox. Utilizzato con il foro medio per fare i passatelli, l'impasto era leggermente troppo duro ma questo super attrezzo ha svolgo il suo compito egregiamente! Molto pratico, per il lavaggio si può mettere tranquillamente in lavastoviglie. Consiglio senza ombra di dubbio.

Lo schiacciapatate è arrivato in ottime condizioni ed è stato subito provato. Ottimo il risultato. L'oggetto è molto robusto e non capisco la recensione dove si dice che i manici nello schiacciare le patate si sono piegati. Chi lo ha utilizzato, Hulk?
