I was looking for a good, basic, coat for our growing dog. Something easy to put on, easy to clean, etc. This fleece material is easy to care for, and the Velcro type fasteners allow a custom, snug fit, even as our dog grows. He likes it! A good value too at the price listed.Some other coats we looked at fit in length but not girth, or vise-versa. Some focused more on style or novelty than functionality. This one is a good, basic coat all around.EDIT: After using this coat for a while, I lowered my rating by one star. The hook-and-loop ('Velcro') closures do not hold as strongly as they should. Have to press together quite tightly for them to hold; more than I should have to. I was hoping that this would improve with wear or laundering.

I bought this for my 10-lb mini dachshund. Since he is very short haired, he is always cold and shivering. It fits him great, stays put, and keeps him warm. It didn’t take him long to get used to it and now seems to be fine with wearing it (photo was from I first put it on him and he wasn’t so sure about it yet). For reference, he is 12-in long and wears a small.

Charlie always seems like he was a bit chilly, so I ordered this fleece for him. The medium fits him well, and the Velcro makes it really easy to put on and take off.

I got the size Large for my 30 pound mix. He probably could have fit in the medium too but I like that it covers his whole back and has a little extra room if he fills out a bit. The velcro is super strong so it stays on him better than another one we have. It's soft and seems to be made well although I haven't yet washed it.

I initially purchased a medium but returned it for a small. The size chart was accurate - my first measurements were off! My dog is a 14.5 lbs chihuahua mix - he wore it today and liked it. The velcro sound doesn’t bother him but if your dog doesn’t like that, could be a problem. My dog wears a regular collar and the leash opening was in the right place for that.

This is my second one. I have a 23 pound Cavachon and the large fits fine as she has a wider chest area. I love the width of the underside with the Velcro. It covers most of her stomach giving her more warmth than coats with the thinner understraps. The collar trim is reflective so it helps at night. I bought the light blue and the yellow for my 14 year old puppy who likes to keep warm on cool CT mornings and nights. They wash up great in the washing machine.

Fits true to size according to the size chart. I ordered the XXXL for my Rhodesian ridgeback and it’s a little snug on her as expected because she’s a little chunky around the chest. She wines when she’s cold and this has helped with that. I only wish there were more colors to pick from.

I got the burgundy color, XXXL size for my dog. He is flat coated retriever mix dog. The size is great. The color was more of red than burgundy. The material is not as soft as I thought but still doable. Had to return because my dog didn’t like the fleece. Nothing wrong with the product. I would actually recommend to friends. Just my dog is being picky!
