QUEEN ANNE LEGS SET 4"

The legs were purchased due mainly to the reviews and price.The legs were purchased due to the reviews and taking into account the price. Have purchased same wooden 4" legs elsewhere and no issues.Somehow aren't able to leave a 1 or 2 star but here are our findings having to go to a 3 star (as trying to leave a 1 or 2 star the review won't for some reason be accepted).The legs arrived, each with 2 round marks either side which on contacting the seller was informed these are processing marks. Told it was best to rub down the legs, yet the legs are already rubbed down ready for painting, staining and or varnishing. Other marks are found to be on all the legs (not processing marks!). On staining a few of the legs, found the processing marks wont cover (i.e. hide) and neither do the other marks.Here are some photographs of the findings. Not the quality or findings we expected!

these legs are in my opinion much better quality than the picture shows. They are well made, very sturdy, very hard wood with a lovely grain and natural look that without paint or varnish is very appealing. I repaired my old footstool with these and the build quality is vastly improved. The price is very reasonable at least 1/2 the price of all small leg replacements available on amazon.co.uk. I'm very happy with my purchase and have included a photo of the finished piece of furniture.

Bought these for a lounge stool we have & are restoring/changing material & feet etc. I have started the project yet but I can report these legs are so excellent & good value for money.They will need to be stained but I new that when I purchased them,
