Qualcast Cordless Pole Hedge Trimmer - 18V.

This machine is very underpowered and will not stay at an angle to cut the top of hedges. Also, I had to repair it when I first tried to use it as it had been assembled in the factory correctly.

Excellent product initially but as another reviewer has noted, the battery has now pretty much lost all its power (despite being handled and charged as per instructions I might add). Currently looking for another battery (no luck so far) or anther similar but longer lasting product

Can't understand why this trimmer is not sold with two batteries,while one is in use,the other could be on charge.price for extra battery could be added to price.

AVOID ! Bought one approximately 6 years ago, and was never entirely impressed with it ! For one it took about 12 hours to charge it up when the charge would only last around 45 minutes ! Cumbersome and awkward ! Then what really irks me is the fact the battery is completely done and there is nowhere on earth I can get a replacement ! Maybe in China where they are made ! So the whole unit is useless ! I have now bought a Vonhaus which is far superior !

Battery is its weakness as is the availability of a replacement. Replacing with petrol.
