Easy to assemble, but light bulb is the (in terms of color) worst light I’ve ever seen. You will definitely want to replace the bulb unless you like bluish bright, light. Think fluorescent but worse. Go ahead and order a soft light bulb that’s compatible. Otherwise cute lamp.

Very nice if all the parts fit. On one of the parts that one of the screws was supposed to fit into to hold another part tight. The hole was already stripped. Rendering that piece unusable. In the end I just made a compromise and figure a way around it, which is fine, but still, this should not happen other than that I am pleased with it, and also it should come with better instructions. The instructions that it came with were terrible and it’s not very helpful for people that are not mechanically inclined. Otherwise, if you get a good kit, all should be fine I would recommend this product. But I would say be wary and check everything.

I Placed a big coffee cup in the lap of this wooden character that says coffee time! My guests love this lamp.My grandchildren all want one for Christmas to sit on their headboards. This lamp would look cute with anything in its lap, or sitting on a book shelf holding a book. Too Too Cute!

Disappointed with what would otherwise have been a good product but for the hardware. Wing bolts were not long enough for the wing nuts to catch and tighten. Really no excuse for not making sure the hardware fits properly.

This lamp is very sturdy modern and unique . Easy assembly as well !

You wouldn't think that something so simple to put together would also be so difficult. The holes for the screws did not line up so I was unable to put it together. I accidentally split the wood when trying to get the screw to go all the way through so now it's no good. As cute as this lamp is I would find something else. I was very disappointed.

This is a very cute lamp with great potential. The crafty me wants to put arms on it and add a crafty shade so I can position him in different ways with different faces. I wasn't expecting all of the wing nuts though. And these wing nuts are not easy to tighten and use. I had a little of a struggle to put them together. Also, the one that attaches his legs to his body keeps you from being able to sit him upright if you wanted try that position. So he pretty much always has to look like he's attempting to do crunches or sit ups lol. They can all clearly be seen in the advertisement pictures so it's only me to blame I guess. I will probably eventually change out the hardware myself to make him my own because it has a lot of potential but for the price, it shouldn't be this difficult to screw together.The instructions on how to put this little guy together leave a lot to be desired as well, so if you prefer words and pictures on your instructions, you may have a hard time.If you're a really crafty person though, you can work with the potential of this lamp and make it your own.

I ordered this for my son's room. He's into robots and needed a reading lamp and this fit the bill. He was thrilled.It's well made and cute. However, you want to make sure that you have somebody handy in the house because the pre-drilled holes did not always line up nor were they completely drilled through.All that aside, it's adorable and when bank of fantastic gift.
