I’m surprised at how well they write and how smooth the ink is. I got them thinking they were more of a novelty items. But they are good pens nevertheless!

I do like these pens. I have purchased 2 sets of 3. They are heavy enough, big enough, and the ink flows enough to make this a very good writing instrument. However, I did take 1 apart to put in a "space pen refill" (pressurized), but for some reason it didn't fit, nor did the cartridge that came out. Now the pen doesn't write, because it's not long enough. So, as long as you use just that installed cartridge, you'll be fine. Took off a star for that... Or, maybe there is a small piece inside that I didn't see and lost?

Overall quality is good

Great Pen. You will see some reviews saying that the pen does not work after you refill the pen. That is because they are not properly installing the pen refil. When refilling the pen - Do not insert the refil end into the metal hole/tube in the bottom of the pen. If you do this - The pen will not work properly. What you must do is simple drop the refil into the pen - and screw the pen back together.Again - do not insert the pen refil into the metal tube in the back/bottom of the pen.
