Bought this to use with my PS4 since my Monitor doesn't have sound - works just fine, but small note: this won't easily fit the PS4 slim, (this was likely made before the slim came out, perhaps it fit the original PS4 just fine...), the body of this device is about a millimetre or two too big to fit (the USB ports on the Slim are recessed); at first I plugged this in and it didn't work,it was then I realised it wasn't fully connected.To get around this, I plugged in a disused USB hub (didn't require power) and plugged this device into that - the PS4 recognised it immediately and worked just fine after that. I'm willing to bet a small USB extension cable or hub would work for anyone else thinking about getting this device for use with the PS4 slim - otherwise might be better to go for something slimmer if you can find one.

It was very reasonable price and a cut above rival plastic ones which tend to be flimsy and fall apart. USB sockets on Laptops stick out sideways and are prone to knocks. That's what wrecked a cheaper plastic one I had. So I bought this one and it seems very robust and made of aluminium it should be pretty long lived. It works fine and the sound quality is far superior when plugging headphones into it than using the same headphones in the Laptop's headphone socket. My laptop has developed a fault in the headphone socket so instead of taking to be repaired which is inconvenient I got this super little adaptor. Problem solved. I fully recommend it to anyone that has USB 2 or higher.

Great little USB device, I had doubts on this at the lower price but I gave it a try and it is really great. I had broke my PC's headphone jack and needed a quick fix and this really worked, just plug it into the USB slot and you're ready. Rather than buying a full usb headset, I decided to try this attachment. I loved it from the moment I tried it.the sound quality is excellent and for recording interviews and podcasts you can't go wrong with this little gem. Such a simple gadget that is very affordable compared to some usb headsets that are quite expensive, this little adapter cost me only €7.00 and I am delighted with the purchase. At the moment I am only using it for Skype and for recording with Audacity but so far it's working great.

It works really well but I have one small criticism, sharp edges! The aliuminium casing has some very sharp edges and, before i could give it to one of my grandchildren to use on my gaming computer, I had to use a carbide stone on all the edges to remove the sharpness. Once this was done it was fine. No problem with how it works but just be prepared the remaove the sharp corners.

I have a 2014 iMac and was struggling to find a headset with boom mike that I could use. I plugged this in to one of the USB ports, selected USB audio in and out on settings and it worked immediately. My issue is that there is interference (crackling) on the right hand earpiece of the headset which is not there if I plug it in to anything else. I am not sure if it is hardware issue but not very impressed.

Bought these on the basis that my gaming headset was cheap and I owned some pretty decent noise cancelling headphones, so with a cheap mic I could probably create a better gaming headset than the one I owned.And voila, it worked. No drivers needed, simply bought a cheap mic from Amazon and plugged both that and my headphones into this thing, and it worked.

This is a very good product, small and easy to use. The earphone plug of my computer stopped working, and I couldn't listen to or watch anything if I was in a place where there were other people. But this little device has solved the problem. I highly recommend it.
