I have to say this speaker is pretty good for the money. I’m always on the go and unfortunately my laptop speakers are less than stellar so I have this a shot. Honestly I wouldn’t bother using the clips to attach it on top and instead use it as a sound bar. It’s compact and does what it needs to. It’s no amazing sound system so if you want all the bells and whistles this probably isn’t for you but for your poor college student like me it’s perfect

This product is compact, light weight, easy to use, easy to pack. I bought it bc my laptop has craptastic sound quality. These speakers have a clear sound and carries across the room well. It made a world of a difference for my movie/TV series being able to hear clearly.The bass/treble is of standard quality (explosions from action movies or bass/treble from songs play fine). So dont expect much from it, but it does its job. There's a side volume adjuster, which is convenient.I have a Samsung Chromebook, and my only regret is that whether assembled or dissembled in 2 pieces, it's difficult for the speakers to stay clipped atop or aside my laptop. Despite taking off my Chromebook protective cover shell, it still has trouble staying affixed.Perhaps my laptop is too thick for the clips. I've settled to let it sit at my side when I have my laptop on my lap or have it clipped to my laptop loosely when set on a table. If speakers manages to clip on whilst my laptop is in my lap, they tend to fall down if I move, or they just fall randomly.For those with super-thin laptops, this product may be perfect for you. For those with standard width laptops, the clips may fail for you, but the sound is great. It has its downfall, but it does its job well.

It’s a good speaker for the price. my only issue is the clamps are very weak and it falls off the laptop pretty easily. I don’t recall it saying it was for a specific kind of laptop, so I figured it would work well.

Much better than the previous one I ordered that only lasted a few months. That one I clipped to the middle, this is two pieces that clips on the sides and sounds way better. Plus it has a volume control instead of using your computer to turn the volume up or down.Have to change my rating. After less than a month, one speaker no longer works.

These little speakers worked great for about three months, and then just suddenly stopped working.

I'm not one needing full 'surround sound' for work, I work from home, I need to hear the tones for email and the like. They are decent full range, bass fairly good. Nice and recommend for a pair if you are lacking any sound.

Good the sub is not great also does not stay on a macbook pro but it's a nice unit you must have the usb plugged in for power as it will not work without it.

I liked the compact size, plenty of volume. The housing has a resonance that maybe some insulation material could dampen.

I cannot fault the speakers simply because you cannot alter physics. These are small speakers that are USB powered that are intended to be better than the internal speakers on your laptop. Truth is they are moderately louder with close to the same frequency response. While they come at a great price, the improvement overall is modest. If I had to do it again.... I wouldn't and instead would use the money as a contribution to some small Bluetooth speakers. I cannot fault the seller as he shipped fast and the description was accurate. The end product did not offer up enough of an improvement to be worth while. Everything is as advertised. They clip to the flip display just fine and they DO work. There IS an improvement over most internal laptop speakers. Just not enough of an improvement for me.

Great product. Works as described. Will surely buy again.
