The support arrived today, I measured my leg as per the directions, and according to that I would need a medium. The medium is far to big on the lower part of my leg and offers very little support for my knee. So I thought, no worries I'll return it and get the small instead.I have had to pay £3.99 to return an item that only cost me £10.99 in the first place, so I'm now out of pocket through no fault of my own, and am dubious about getting the next size now - what if I have to return that too???

My first use had mixed results. The sleeve did provide support, it did give me confidence and there were no annoying slippages and constant pulling up and repositioning. It stayed put for 7 hours on a long mountain walk. So far so good and for performance I'd give it top marks. The 3 star rating is because the rubberised grip at the top caused a very bad wheal on my leg with severe itching. I would only recommend use for short periods of a couple of hours.

I was looking for something to help get back into playing badminton after hugely stressing the tendons. I also have only 1 cruciate ligament - legacy of an old motorcycle injury I need something to help stabilise the joint during twisting movements. This support did a near perfect job. It's strong without being bulky or heavy and isn't too rigid and yet flexible enough so that I wasn't too restricted for movement.So far as the healing assistance is concerned it's difficult to say for certain that the benefit is there but only because I have nothing to compare it too. I did find that it's comfortable enough to wear for several hours at a time and that my knee did seem to have improved afterwards.

I have a V-shaped tear in my meniscus which had become problematic on runs and long distance walking - usually causing the knee to swell up significantly forcing rest for at least a week. I am also lucky enough to have access to a really good sports physio who was as keen to avoid any surgical intervention as I was. He recommended trying a compression support to see if that would provide enough stability to stop the cartilage catching/ irritating around the joint.This support has been amazing and since using it I've had no problems at all. Coincidence - no, as I forget to wear it on a 10 mile walk and the result was a properly swollen knee!Definitely recommend.

I bought a medium fit so it would be nice and tight, so as not to slide down like most cheap knee supports do.Having read the good reviews I had high hopes this one was going to do the Job.So put it on and took the dog for a walk, nothing strenuous or sporty.It held up for a good 50 or so metres before it slipped down and was uncomfortable.A waste of time, money and effort. It's not worth the hassle of sending it back though, so it will do for wearing around the house. Amazed at how many good reviews this has on here,

I use this occasionally when I have pain in my knee during BJJ for the sessions where I need a little extra support so I can continue training without getting an injury

After much searching and reading reviewsI went for the Reharock Compression Knee Sleeve. It's was reasonable in price and had positive reviews. I was looking for something not too bulky or expensive. The Reharock sleeve arrived earlier than expected and I have to say I'm really pleased. It's a good fit, stays in place pretty much all day and is easy to wash. It's given my arthritic knee some stability and I'm able to cope much better with the pain. Great product, would definitely recommend.
