Great for greasy hair
This was my first using a cowash and I just wanted to use it for a few weeks before I left a review. I gotta say I love this product!! My hair tends to get really oily I literally couldn’t go more than a day, maybe two before shampooing it again. And I know shampooing your hair too often is bad but I literally wouldn’t know what to do!! And since I’ve had covid last Christmas I have been losing so much hair and washing it too often has made it even worse. Until I found this bad boy! I only shampoo my hair once a week now and the rest of the days I use this cowash and my hair has never felt so moisturised and soft. It smells great too! I’ve also noticed I don’t get as many breakages as I used to. My hair is also easier to handle throughout the week. The tub is huge and I do use probably more than I should but I don’t think I’ll run out of it any time soon :D so overall this is amazing for anyone who wants to take breaks in between shampoo days and keeping your hair moisturised and smelling good!

Brilliant.
I have used other popular co-washes and shampoos/conditioners aimed at curly hair, but none of them compare to this. I have 2c/3a curls and my hair has always been difficult. Before using this cowash, some days my hair would work, other days I would have to reach for a bandana/hat/bag/vodka. I don't use a conditioner after using this cowash but I do use argan oil and shea moisture's curl souffle after washing. This cowash leaves my hair clean and easily washes out oil/leave ins. In conjunction to this co-wash, I use shea moisture's curl souffle and this co-wash has no problems washing that out so I am not left with icky residue. In fact, I only have to use a clarifying shampoo once a month and I have gone without a clarifying shampoo for 3 months (I'm not gross I was just moving house and job and studying I had no time for clarifying shampoo) and it was fine. This cowash leaves my hair very moisturised. My hair has been subjected to a lot of bleaching, balayages, highlights etc and there is no dryness after using this. This cowash does not leave my hair greasy or heavy. Prior to this cowash, i used shea moisture's range of shampoo and conditioners but they were too heavy and my hair looked greasy.I get a great shine using this cowash and also, my hair is not full of knots or tangles when I get out of the shower. My curls are well defined and not frizzy after using this, also, my curls last 3 days - unheard of before! (I washed my hair everyday prior to this because second day hair was just a knotty fuzz). My only gripe with the product is that you have to use a fair bit when using. It doesn't seem to spread very well - but i do have very thick hair so it might be okay for some people. I have to order one of these tubs a month.

a bit pricy, but good quality
Co-washing was a relatively new concept for me when i bought this for the first time couple of years ago. But it actually worked leaving my hair clean and moisturized.Hair was left soft and clean without leaving it weight down. You just need to be extra careful to rinse to avoid having a greasy-ish residue. The first couple of times i had situations when i was thinking my hair is well rinsed, but when it dried it was a bit heavier and with a weird feeling to it than it should. The amount of product in the plastic container is good, but it is not very convenient to use - you need to scoop it out. At some point i started to re-fill an airless container from which i can pump out the amount needed.Overall, i would buy this again as i have found and got used to the most convenient way for me use and my hair feels good with the usage of this.A star is taken due to the lack of convenience of the container, only that.

Would buy again.
I converted to cleansing conditioners about 10 years ago and would never go back to normal shampoos (strip your hair of all moisture) and conditioners (leave your hair soft, floppy and flyaway). I used WEN cleansing conditioner for several years but it's expensive so thought I'd try some others. Started with Pantene's Co-Wash Conditioner and I'm very happy with it but you can't see how much is left in the bottle and whether you've managed to get it all out. So, tried this 'AS I AM CoWash' as it's in a tub and you can easily get the last dregs out (I'm Scottish and thrifty!).It's got a mild pleasant Coconut fragrance, it lathers up nicely (but not too much) when you rinse it out with water, it's left my hair easy to comb through when wet and it left my hair soft, smooth and manageable. It's not just for those with curly hair- mine is thin, fine and flyaway with a slight wave. It stops my fine hair going all flyaway but it doesn't leave it heavy or greasy like some conditioners do .I find that, with my hair type, I never have to use a separate conditioner with these Co-Washes as they really do cleanse and condition in one go.

Great co-wash shampoo
I love this product. I have natural afro hair and I have been using this for a few months. It leaves my hair soft, shiny and well conditioned.
