High Quality Sticky Pieces of Cheesecloth
So my title is a bit tongue-in-cheek, but this is basically what these are. I purchased them after my buddy Gary and I build a beautiful workbench in my garage. We were going to buy a workbench from Menards, but he criticized the quality of wood it was made with (he's snooty). So instead I bought a metal one to put in my basement. The metal one was not expensive, but when the cashier, who, incidentally had a rip in her jeans exposing some of her dainty undergarment, rang it up, I thought the price seemed high. My buddy went to check out the price, as the store manager who was called over was a fairly slovenly woman who seemingly couldn't be bothered to heft herself the 50 feet to the workbench aisle. Her mashed-potato-like body habitus made both my friend and I reconsider our dinner plans, but when my friend returned he confirmed the price had rung up correctly. After shooting him an icy glare, I paid the amount of money directed by Miss Lookatmypanties and we were on our way. Oh, while we were at the store, we also picked up plenty of NICE wood to build a workbench, and we headed home to do just that. After several hours of arguing over the workbench design, we compromised on a style with four legs, a flat top, and a shelf underneath. Neither of us was happy, but such is the nature of compromise. We build the workbench and then went into the house to make some beef stroganoff. Thomas Keller has the most complicated recipe for beef stroganoff in the world, but it is mighty tasty. It takes three days. If this guy was in charge of the space program we would still be flinging chimpanzees into space using giant slingshots. But I digress. So after the tasty dinner, my buddy departed for home, and I was left with a workbench in need of finishing and some sanding. I used my electric sander to smooth out the workbench, and then used these tack cloths to remove any fine dust from sanding. They are extremely reasonable and soft to the touch. Reasonable in terms of price, not reasonable in terms of me having to ask them to do something or come up with a new workbench design. They aren't sentient. They're tack cloths. Anyway, I used two for my workbench, and I still have 10 left! Such a deal. I will sometimes surreptitiously leave the box in plain sight in my garage, and when visitors come over I see them eyeing the box. I graciously offer them a tack cloth, as I have 10 more, and they are usually emotionally overcome by my generosity. I insist they take one, or even two (!), but they always refuse, no doubt fearing that they could never repay their debt of gratitude. One day I shall find someone worthy of the extra tack cloths, but until then, I will continue building, sanding, and tack cloth-ing, until the worthy one enters my garage and claims what is his (or her) birthright. These tack cloths should be placed among the finest jewels, tiaras and diadems of the crowned heads of Europe, or perhaps given their own Broadway Show. When someone on stage says "I propose a toast!" everyone will throw tack cloths on the stage. That would truly be a befitting tribute to these small sticky pieces of thin, folded cloth. I cherish mine, and at this price will buy more as soon as I run out. Get your own before everyone catches on and the price becomes so high that they are only within reach of movie stars, rock singers, and the guy who does the voice of Maxwell the Pig on those Geico commercials.

Good tack cloth, individually wrapped.
These are standard cheese-cloth type tack rags. This "12 pack" box includes 12 individually wrapped cloths. They are used for surface preparation and cleaning prior to painting/staining.You should make sure the surface is clear of grease and chemicals by using a degreaser/cleaner first. then use this tack cloth to remove any dust or lint.In order to use, take it out of the wrapper and unfold it completely. Then wad it up into a loose ball in one hand. wipe it gently over the surface to be painted. Don't press too hard, or else the adhesive from the tack cloth will rub off on the surface, and this will probably cause flaws in your paint job.For best results use a new one every time. But you could probably get away with using one of these cloths throughout a whole project or a whole day. If the cloth starts to loose its tackiness, or if it picks up any bigger debris, like twigs, sand, etc, it should be thrown away, since those may put scratches into the surface.All-in-all these are good tack cloths. They will hold up as much as you would expect, and they are cheap enough to throw away after every job.

Best Tack Cloth I've Ever Used
I teach a self-contained practical math class in a learning disabilities unit of a high school; we are combining geometric and algebraic skills with carpentry and one of the steps is painting which requires that all sawdust and other minuscule debris must be removed before painting or the finish coat is placed. Galaxy tack cloth does the job extremely well. Carpentry has been an avocation of mine for over 40 years, and I produce self-designed furniture. My students are producing miniature furniture, and this tack cloth is invaluable so that their projects come out smooth and clean when the final finish is put down. Galaxy tack cloth is essential for that and performs perfectly. When we run out, I shall purchase it again. I find that if I carefully wiped down the project before I use the tack cloth, then the tack cloth has less to pick up, and can be reused again and again. It's a great product that will not disappoint.

High tack good price.
The clothes are very tacky and pick up dust very well. As other reviewers have already stated. Use nitrile gloves, and use the tack cloth on the surface gently, don't rub that will just bunch up the cloth, leave residue, and potential marks. I have used the blue hawk from Lowes which has less tack to it in my opinion. But Lowes is charging 5 bucks each for the blue hawk in my area. I'll choose these any day of the week over that crazy price. I buy this exact same product from a local hardware store for twice the cost. Thank you amazon for good products at good prices!

A Happy Hubby Is A Happy Mama.....
So the hubby and I were on our way home from a spent in another city for a doctors appointment followed by shopping. It was a 3 hour drive each way, and it was a LONG day and the hubby and I couldn't wait to get home. That's when the hubby remembered he wanted to pick up a package of these for a project he was working on. So rather than stopping on our way home in another city to pick up a package I just went bing, bang, boom and ordered this from my smartphone. Hubby had them in two days and he was a happy camper. They did exactly as described.... it's a tack cloth people.....

Reusable?
As stated by others, use gloves. I know some people have said that they've reused these, which is fair to a certain extent. These tack cloths are very sticky, as they are supposed to be, and pick up a lot of dust very rapidly. Once they're saturated with dust and debris there isn't much you can do with them. So yes, they are reusable if your work-piece has very little dust and debris, but mine are usually much dustier than that and after a few passes and folding to new sections, the cloth is done. Still a great product, but don't be expecting to be able to reuse the same cloth a bunch of times.
