Epress Candle Lighter, USB Rechargeable Lighter with a Hook for Handy Storage, Multi-Purpose Electronic Arc Lighter – (Black)

I purchased this lighter in Jan. 2018 and have used it hundreds of time to light my propane weed burner that I use for wood burning stoves and meat smokers. Why so long to write the review? Today was the first time I've had to charge it since buying it. It was charged when it arrived and lasted 3 years, 7 months on that charge. I do not exaggerate when I say hundreds of uses on one charge. I would buy it again in a second if I needed another.

I have a very hard time with regular long lighters. Childproof? Arthritis proof? I don’t know. I just can’t get it and I am a person who can play the piano and start an IV. Really, It’s not because I am stupid. I read books. In two languagesThis is easy to use and feels like you are doing magic because it’s no flame.

I guess my rating would fall between "I like it" and "It's okay" but I am hoping it will be a total "I like it" after it gets broken in and I get more used to it. It takes a special flick to get it to operate, which I am mastering. I am also learning how to get a good charge in it. The first charge only seemed to last maybe 10 flicks. It also seems to be operating better with breaking in. I really like not having to mess with matches or a butane lighter when lighting the propane burners on our camp stove. And the length does a pretty good job of keeping my hand away from the combusting gas.

I've had this for YEARS and it's still going strong. Holds a charge for the longest time. The amount of things you can use it for is quite limited since the electric current width is pretty short. It's pretty much only for lighting candles so keep that in mind.

The media could not be loaded.  (Update) it fell apart from small drop of 2' I had to tape it to keep it together it had a problem with the switch at first that I was able to use it as a backup but now I think it's dangerous and can Shock/Burn someone! It's more of a burn if the plasma touches your skin! See photos of how it started falling apart and what I did to tape it together (Temporally until I get another)) (dropping 2 Stars from my original review!! It works better than I expected! Now to see how long it last? The USB cable that came with it is small I never knew they made them that short? And the Green LED light that comes on is very bright!!! A little bit to Bright! It might make a great nightlight? See my Video (test on my RV Stove) and Photos also there's no documentation included with it? It's not hard to figure out but something with warnings and charging instructions should have been included (all I got was a Lighter a USB cable, and the box it was in)

I was surprised by the quality of this little item. Well packaged and a good weight/feel in the hand. Really feels like a well made product. I bought it for my gas cook top and candles so it will get a lot of use. Certainly looks and feels like a much more expensive item so it makes a splendid hostess gift. I would happily pay another dollar or two for a USB cable since most of my computers are MAC's and none of my charger/cables fit the port but like most people, I have tons of others that did. You'll find many uses for this fine product.

Wow! I am amazed at how this works! It is easy to use, only a couple of buttons to push. I did have to press it several times to light incense; it did not catch right away.I am giving it four stars for now only because I want to see how long it will last before I must charge it and how easy it is to charge and how long it takes to recharge.I am very pleased with this product so far.
