I bought this because the Author has the same surname as me. I was not disappointed. Strange & satanic goings on in Larkhall, Bath (which I have visited before and recognised many of the locations mentioned) drawn out into a well written & well paced surreal and wacky tale that won't disappoint if your humour veers towards Bottom, Mayall, Elton. Just somewhat darker & ribald. Sit back with a lukewarm bowl of Sprouts Mexicane and a schooner of Tizer and enjoy.

Too much bad language for my liking, but I was interested in the descriptions of Larkhall (having lived there) and Bath. Very odd story

I really enjoyed this, a good read for me as I live in the area and I’m familiar with all the local settings.

My partner bought me this book to cheer me up as I was missing Bath after recently having to move away from that beautiful city. It was the perfect tonic. Describing the locations I love so well and accurately brought great comfort as well as recognising similar characters in real life from the Larkhall area. If you enjoy spooky goings on mixed with absurd comedy then this is the perfect book to read on a cold, winters evening.

I've bought this for someone who is a fan of off-beat comedy, ghostly happenings and Bath, so it seems perfect! Having flicked through to read some snippets and seeing so many places featured that I know, I can't wait to share and read it myself too!
