Eagle Ornament Replacement for Spinning Pole (4-1/2 in.)

I can't speak for other poles, but it fits perfectly on this spinner pole;"US Flag Store Walls-2 White Bracket 7ft Spinner Flagpole Aluminum-Pole Only, 7 Feet"It feels sturdy and has a nice, clean look to it. I think it looks nicer than the "ball" that comes atop most house flag poles. Simple swap-out, just unscrew the ball and screw this right on. As others have noted, the Eagle does not sit directly on top of the ball. The Eagle is offset slightly so it presents correctly when the flag pole is positioned at an angle - as most house poles will be. If you are using a straight vertical pole this is not what you're looking for.I would recommend, as long as you have a pole that it fits.

I had been looking for an eagle ornament for some flags that I will place on friend's graves. Unfortunately, all that I had been able to find were much too large and costly, because they were intended for tall outdoor flagpoles or 7-foot indoor poles. Both rules of the cemetery and the possibility that they would be stolen ruled these out. The mounting socket is large (about on inch diameter), but I will make an adapter to fit the smaller diameter poles I will use. I think the design is very attractive, and it is nicer than I expected for the price. It is bright and shiny gold, not like the gold-colored plastic spear tips usually found on smaller flags mounted on sticks. Delivery was prompt, ahead of promised time.

Looks pretty nice for an all-plastic flag topper. Unfortunately, my flagpole is another brand, and the screw hole and threads do not fit. My flagpole end is slightly smaller in diameter and much finer threads.

Good quality. Fit's 1" screw-on pole. Amazing price. I bought 2 because I usually break 1 a year while taking it in or out in the cold weather when the plastic is super brittle, and clumsily hit it against the doorframe or porch pole, etc.

needs explanation that the Eagle does not sit vertically on top of the ball. It's made for a flag pole which is presented at an ANGLE then the Eagle is vertical to the ball. If displayed on a Vertical pole the Eagle looks like he's sliding off the back of the ball. Otherwise good product

I wanted a nice ornament for the top of my new high quality 6 foot spinning flagpole for my house that I bought from the same seller and the photo of this one looked nice. When the eagle ornament arrived the first problem was that the ornament is supposed to attach by screwing it down onto the end of the flagpole. However, it does not fit on the threads and so it is useless.The second problem is that it is plastic without much detail on the eagle. I have a plastic eagle ornament on the end of my old cheapie house flagpole that has at least twice the detail and appeal that this one has.My recommendation is to not buy this eagle ornament. It is poorly designed and contrary to the description it does not fit the end of this company's spinning flagpoles.

Added to my white flag pole. It looked great until my flag pole broke one windy day, and the wing snapped off.

Do not buy this product if your flagpole is mounted an an angle. I have a spinning pole that prevents tangles, but the sharp wings in this topper will catch your flag if its even a little breezy. Shredded 2 flags already. This topper should only be used in a straight vertical pole mount or indoors.
