I am very pleased so far with this thread. It helps me add extra love to the zippered bags that I make for charity. Women's centers, hospice and children's hospitals.I've gone through some quickly. Not because they are lacking, but because I am doing more since I have a variety and the colors are great.I like the packaging. You see the color number listed inside the box where the thread is. Numbers are also ,on the thread spool and on a colored sheet chart. No need to put on a rack. The box works perfectly. Keeps things in order and in place.I did notch 2 little spots on the base of the spool on opposite sides so I can put the thread tail when done so thread doesn't unravel and I have an easy start up. I put them on each side because depending where the thread stops I find the nearest notch. Do not notch on top. That may get in the way of it unspooling while using. I put a purple mark so you can see. The sheet in the photo is a removable sheet.The colors are so pretty.Wished I had the funds to order the big set. But hopefully I will soon. Very pleased.I didn't get paid to review or get a free product. I just believe if something works or don't work, I should share.The only semi tiny tiny tiny issue is finding the beginning. For some that seems an issue . You will find it. Well worth the hunt.

I was a bit disappointed that this product did not arrive with everything shown in the picture. The thread came in a very nice color-coordinated box. By color coordinated I mean colors were grouped with like colors. They are beautiful colors and enough variety to begin learning to use my embroidery machine. The labels on the bottom come off very easily, you may want a permanent sharpie to mark the color name on the bottom. However there was not a rack as I thought should have been, it's shown in the photo so I assumed I would receive the rack as well. However the thread is good quality, I have had no problems with the tensile strength. It makes up beautifully and makes a beautiful bouquet of flowers when you use the correct colors. All in all, it shipped quickly, was in perfect condition and I was so happy to receive it.

Wish I could still find them the quality is amazing. Love to work with them. They have excellent shine and are strong.

I haven't used the thread yet so the number of stars may change. I have just opened the box and here is what I have found. The 405 Blue is 1000 yards and is the same shade as as 420 Electric Blue 500 yds. The 205 Yellow 1000 yd spool is the same shade as 206 Harvest Gold 500 yd spool. The bottom of the spools appear at first glance to have spool locks, but the plastic is so hard that you can not fold it up to lock in the thread. Wrapping the thread around the base of the spool does not result in the thread staying wrapped. There are no instructions on how to use the "locking feature" on these spools that is advertised in the description of the product.*Update* In regards to the colors above, taking them outside in natural light reveals that they are different shades but barely distinguishable from each other. As for the locks, I had 2 other sewers, try to lock the spools and they can't lock them either. These threads sew very well. The sheen is very nice and they don't fray when I use the needle threader like rayon, big name does on my machine. Dense designs covered very well. My only complaint is the lack of a real locking cone. The box they came in would be great for storing the threads, but since the cones point down and don't lock the thread spools off in a puddle in the bottom of the box.

I just started with embroidery so I have nothing to compare this too and bought it after researching and reading reviews........ I have to say I'm Very Happy with it!! It comes very nicely packaged in a cute box with a "menu" sheet included so you can look at that to find where your thread is located in the box which I found helpful. Also the colors are nice and the thread works well in my brother machine so next time I will order the bigger box as the pricing on this thread seemed like a good deal to me!!

I have not tested all the colors, but the ones I have sewn with stitched out perfectly. I did write the color name and code on the bottom of each cone on the plastic. I think the labels will fall off eventually. I also could not figure out the end of thread 'secure' function, so I cut a slanted slit in the bottom edge of the cone (with a craft knife) to secure the thread end.

I love the set. I'm a total beginner but even I can tell the great quality of this thread. I did have an issue getting the starting point of the thread but I think that was caused by my own ignorance. It comes with a color wheel and is boxed oh so nicely. I just did test embroidery with this until I get a hang of it. But there is more than enough thread on each spool, so I'm not worried.

I really, really wanted to like this thread, but I would give these a zero rating if I could. They arrived on time, but the thread looks so cheap due to the excessive shine. It makes your project look cheap and poorly made. Plus I had an issue with breakage. I thought it might be my machine, but I tested it on 2 other machines and continued to have shredding/breakage problems. I’ve used embroidery thread throughout the years, but never any like this. Unfortunately I did not test the thread until 3 days after the 30 day return window had passed, so I’m stuck with thread I cannot use. Will never order again.
