Sturdy 3 drawer chest used as a nightstand
Sturdy 3 drawer chest used as a nightstand, as most nightstands are short and impractical. Relatively easy to put together (It took less than 2 hours and I'm very arthritic). The only real problem I had was understanding the pictures of the metal drawer slides in the directions. I'm not sure, but I think you need to attach the metal slider to the drawer itself, but it's not in the directions. I have some screws leftover that seem to support this theory, but as the drawers don't come all the way out, it might not be a problem. There are also two holes side by side on the very bottom of both sides of the chest. While you cannot see them unless you actually turn the chest upside down, it makes me wonder if the original design had another piece of wood for support, again there is no mention in the directions but they are the same size holes that you put wooden pegs into in the rest of the directions. I used some glue for these wooden pegs for added support. The only other explanation I can come up with is that the manufacturer uses the same sections for different furniture and maybe it's more economical to cut them all the same. It's just odd that the holes are there. The chest is very sturdy and perfect for my needs. I like the barrier around 3/4 of the top that keeps items from falling off the edge as I have two cats who love pushing things off furniture just to watch it fall.

Solid, but a pain to assemble.
They should really call this a "Dresser Kit" as it is literally a box of wood and screws/nails. If you're not handy you may want to consider paying for the "expert assembly". Took a couple hours for me to slowly hammer and screw this thing together, but it looks good now that it's done!It is definitely heavy for it's size, which is a good indicator of quality. It's able to hold most of my clothes and a few other random items. I like that it has a little shelf for storing things on top too. Overall pretty happy with the purchase. My only knock on this thing is for the instructions which weren't very good. It can be difficult to differentiate which screws are for what. There is one basic illustration for multiple actions.

Is this a joke?
I would give this 0 stars if I could because ordering this was an absolute waste of time. I received a package that seemed extremely light but thought nothing of it, until I opened it and found that inside the box, there was ONE plank of wood and an instruction booklet. How am I supposed this with ONE plank of wood??? Now I have to go through the trouble of figuring out how to return this within the next days before I go on vacation. BUYER BEWARE.

Damaged, with low quality components
When shopping for this dresser, I specifically filtered for "wood" construction in hopes of eliminating particle board and cardboard components after a cheap Home Depot dresser experience gone bad. Sure enough, upon opening I discovered that 2 of the pieces were broken, one severely. All of the components were particle board, with the exception of the drawer bottoms and back that are CARDBOARD. 30 minutes on a Sunday wasted unpacking and repacking this unit, with nothing to show for it except for a floor covered in sawdust. GARBAGE!!!

While it doesn't feel like it will last any kind of abuse
While it doesn't feel like it will last any kind of abuse, I expect it to work great for a few years. I love the dimension and looks. The shelf up top is perfect for storing things. I adhered a power strip to the back and drilled a hole in the rear wall so I can run cables through to charge things on the top without being obvious.

Decent
Decent piece for the cost. The directions could be improved. My package was missing the allen wrench and strap but I had stuff at home to improvise.

A solid piece for the price
Pretty sturdy for the price. Definitely took longer to assemble than the instructions said it would be (more like two hours) and the instructions could have been clearer in a couple of places, but I'm pretty happy with the finished project, it does exactly what I needed and looks very clean.
