super fast
After doing TurboFire dvd workout starter pack, I have learned two things about myself. One being I must be slow because this was so very hard to follow and two, I suck at punching. Wanted to boost up my cardio routine, so I thought that this would be a great addition to my routine. It was pretty frustrating to say the least. Had a super hard time following any of the routines mainly because they all seem very, awkward to me. I am terrible at punching and this work was mostly... punching. ah well. The good news is that it did make me sweat, but mostly from me trying to compensate from my lack of coordination. Over all, I would say after the embarrassment subsided I would give this 3 stars. The rating stems from it being REALLY fast and the camera is only one one lady, even tough there are two others sowing different intensity levels. I have to guess what the low intensity girl was doing. She probably looked like me. I will more than likely do this work out a bunch more times mostly because it cost me 46 bucks...ps. this really is not a starter pack...

Difficult!!!!!!
I've got to say, this is the most difficult workout I have done...EVER. You would think that it being a starter pack, it would be slower, but 10 minutes into the workout and I gave up because I couldn't follow all the moves. Not even close. My mind doesn't work as fast as theirs does because I was lost. I am currently doing Tae Bo and may try this again later.

Great for beginners
This is a great HIIT collection for beginners. The instruction is clear and the workout is fast paced enough to get a great workout. I had knee surgery 3 years ago and I am unable to do high impact training. This is a great way for me to add HIIT to my training without hurting my knee.

MIXED FEELINGS......
Was really excited to get purchase. Found the disappointment in viewing the DVD. I never worked with this program or instructor, when I found being a beginner I could follow Alee to learn the routine. Well, I couldn't find Alee to follow, she was off the screen most of the time. What helped me was using the subtitles - I know once I learn the routine it'll all be good. One more thing, a little pricey for what get.

Great Workout!
If you are familiar with the original Turbo Fire Kit this is a great supplement to that. I ordered TurboFire from beach body and did that for a little over a year. I needed an alternative to the jumping in the HIIT workouts and this is really good. It takes a little adjustment because the movements are intense in a different way but once you have done it one or two times it is really good if you need a quick workout. Depending on how deep you take the moves, you will still feel it in your knees somewhat but you just have to really focus on good form. the Fire Starter workout is really great to do a regular workout but focusing on form and making it as intense as you can on the break down. Lots of fun, like all of Chalene's workouts are. Don't hesitate....JUST DO IT FOR PETE'S SAKE :0) You won't be disappointed.

Not for beginners....
Well, a good DVD, but def not for beginners, whatsoever! Use this after you've done something more simple, a lot!

Good Starter Pack
It's a good starter pack. The workouts are great for beginners. It gets you motivated and wanting to start the next video asap. I wish half of it wasn't the same stretch video.
