Wild Water Fly Fishing Weight Forward 9-Weight Mahogany Intermediate Sinking Fly Fishing Line, 90 ft.

Quality fly line at an unbeatable price. I couldn't find any specifications for the head weight so I measured 30' of line and weighed it myself. The 30' head weight is 17gm or 262 grains. This weight puts the line on the higher end of the 9wt line standard as set by AFFTA which is perfect for general fishing use. If you plan on casting large pike and musky flies, you may consider over lining by one weight. Overall the line is great. The packaging is good but there is no spool included. Definitely a good bargain for the price though.

I have been using this line for almost a year now, the amount of fishing i do, throwing it into debris and whatever else is laying around it gets beatup but it is my own doing. When im open casting it lasts, very strong. I have landed many large stripers on this fly line including a 49" 35lb13oz striper. I purchase the WF10-S as well. The price is right, and for my fishing it outlasts the big name brands, you know what they are. I get an occasional tiny bubble in the line (right out of the packaging), but for the price and amount of abuse I give them, it doesnt bother me at all. Extremely smooth casting and shoots far!
