I bought this brush because it looked like an old one we used to have that was lost many, many years ago. The more recent replacement was not good, so I spent way more time than necessary researching these brushes on Amazon before making this purchase--hopefully, this will save you some time!! This brush is solid (and the handle will not become loose and fall off like our poor previous purchase with a rubber grip--yuck!) It fits my hand well and feels sturdy. Our cats love it! Easy to clean. Easy to store. All good! Would definitely recommend it.

I bought this to use on my genuine sheepskin rug, which it's perfect for. Every couple months I'll brush out the rug and fluff it back up. The tongs are stiff enough to get through the thick fur and the brush is comfortable to hold. The price is definitely right compared to similar looking slicker brushes.

I got this brush the first time to use to card wool and yarn for needle felting, but quickly realized a second one would make it much easier. So I went back and bought a second one from the exact same listing (I even went through the “Buy Again” button from the first order). To keep things brief, the brushes work fantastic for what I need them for, except for the oddest thing! They’re different sizes? What even…? I suppose it’s just my petty desire to have them match but it just bugs me and seems really weird.

I have a my first long hair cat so brushing to combat shedding and mats is necessary. This brush gets in between and loosens the hair with little effort just be careful when you pull the hair off because jamming a finger on one of those sharp little bristles hurts.
