Great beginners camera!
Cons first: most of the accessories it comes with are cheap (I love the lens attachment though). I would recommend buying a sturdier tripod (if you plan to use it), an extra battery or two, a bigger storage card, and a better flash attachment.That being said, you cannot beat this for the price! The camera itself is perfect for anyone wanting to take up photography with little to no experience. It’s a great starter and easy to mess with and figure out! I definitely recommend looking up some YouTube videos for any special settings or styles you’re trying to use, but overall, it’s easy to navigate if you have basic tech skills. I think it takes great photos when you figure out the settings! I sat on this purchase for a couple years before buying it because I was worried about spending that much on a camera, even refurb, but I wish I had bought it sooner! My sister has the same and showed me some of her favorite settings over a holiday weekend with family and it took some great photos. Love it, and wholeheartedly recommend!

Great beginner camera
I am just starting my photography business and I LOVE this little camera. It's compact and delivers gorgeous quality. If you are on a tight budget or starting out - START HERE! I pair this with my Nikon d90 (I've had it for 9 years and it is one of my favorite cameras). (I do portrait photography)

There was no instructions with the camara

Don’t buy refurbished
It has taken me a long time to learn this camera and years ago I did photo journalism for a living (back in film days). This thing does not auto focus as it should, the auto flash pops up at the worst times, and I got two external flashes with it. One had dog bite marks…yet! Teeth marks.If I did this again, I would send the thing back and just buy a new one. This was not with it, but it’s too late now.
