Good runner for the money just don't use vacuum beater brush or wash it in machine
I was in carpet industry for many years and this is a great runner if you don't machine wash or vacuum it with the beater brushes on. We got two 10ft beige berber runners received yesterday, Christmas Eve. Put on the floor and the 8 dogs immediately tracked in boot sucking mud and dirt since we have a doggie door. Unseasonably warm this Christmas in VA being 80F and there is mud everywhere on the farm. The runner cleaned up nicely. It is a great runner until I vacuumed it. Our Dyson apparently snagged a loose loop on the berber and ripped out about a 2 inch section of loop and pulled some others loose. Urgh i managed to tuck a few back down at least. It is beige so it isn't too ghastly. I wouldn't machine wash this carpet as it states it is okay to do because I am sure you will lose the backing (been there done that)-but it could be sprayed with hose outside or spot cleaned easily. It did do very well with spot cleaning with our bissel handheld since it is oelfin and mud was easily removed. I won't use the brush of the Dyson on it again and sadly we needed this carpet over the holidays to cover a subfloor since we are under renovations and all our wood flooring is ribbed up. So can't return it right now. It is overall a good buy and will hold up if you treat it a little more cautiously.

Quality has gone down from previous order
I ordered a few of these runner rugs 5 months ago. I would have given the previous rugs 4 stars, the new rugs get only 1 star.New Rugs: 1) Color changed, it's now a chocolate brown, not the previous dark brown. 2) Edging is not sewn down and is frayed in numerous spots. 3) The weave is much larger and less threads, so you can see the backing through the larger berber weave.Old Rugs: 1) Nice dark brown color. 2) Edging is nicely sewn. 3) Tight weave.See the pictures.

They don't slide around.
They sent the wrong color but I don't really care. I also don't care about the quality. I only bought them to make pathways for my dog who has bad hips and knees and is having trouble walking on my hardwood floors. As long as he can get up without slipping I'm satisfied.

Great Rummer
Main entry to our rural home is off a gravel driveway thru a narrow laundry room. The floor takes a beating. I've tried other runners, even ones from big box stores where you purchase by the foot. Nothing works as good as this runner. Great backing which keeps it from bunching up when the dogs run and stop on it. Plus it's green which is part of the homes color scheme. Great product.

Very cheaply made
When I received the rugs, They had creases in them. I laid them flat, still creased, I put them in the dryer, still creased. I just laid them in my hallway, hoping the creases would come out, they did slightly. I had to wash one of them due to a puppy accident, it completely fell apart. I will have to buy new ones, better quality ones. Update: I recently washed the other 2 rugs and they too completely fell apart. Do not waste your money on these rugs, you will have to replace them, they are very poor quality. Looking for new, better quality rugs.

seems to be a nice carpet runner for the money
seems to be a nice carpet runner for the money. Hemmed all the way around, rubber backing seems to make it slip proof. The other reviews are correct, It creases very easily from being in storage. I took a steam iron to it (fabric side) then hung it over a door for a day or two. Its own weight helped in eliminating most of the creases. It now lays nice and flat. See pics.

Good.......
Bought 3: two for underneath our 'captain's bed' and one under counter-height stools. Under the bed do exactly what I'd hoped. The other one, well, has become a very attractive toy for our cats because they can pull threads and start to unravel it. We have many other rugs in the house but this is the only one they feel compelled to..... well...... I think they might be going for total destruction. If you're thinking of buying this rug as a cat toy, by all means do! (This is kinda unfair of me; your cats might leave it alone.)

Worth every penny
This is the best inexpensive alternative to getting hardwood floors treated. We have pets that slide all over the place and these provide a stable passageway for them. The runners are well made, edged, and are non-slip. They are not pretending to be high end and should be viewed in a utilitarian manner, although I am surprised at how decent they look. We have just ordered 3 more.
