Doll House- Carry 'n Play Doll House

My original review did not post, but I felt it important to submit another. This item is made of 1/4" PLYWOOD (other reviewers stated it was not made of plywood. Enlarge photo to clearly show plywood edge.) It has 3 large labels COMPLETELY ADHERED TO IT--which required 2 hours and the application of petroleum based products to remove. While removing stickers, I found 2 pieces that required re-gluing because they were so poorly attached. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS ITEM. It is JUNK. Without the stickers it would be a perfectly fine doll house for the price. Since it's been soaked in toxic cleaning products and is now all greasy, it can't really be given to a pre-schooler to play with, so will probably go into the garbage. Stick with Melissa and Doug, despite that doll house's unfortunate pink color. They don't put stickers on their toys. (The photos below show the sticker areas. One one side it is a single huge sticker that covers the roof and the side. On the other side there is one on the roof and one covering the porch railing. Note the greasy stains from adhesive remover, as well as cracked porch part on left of door (one of the broken areas.)

The company who made this product put these large sucker labels on the wooden dollhouse that took me two hours to remove. There're was a glue residue that I now have to figure out how to remove it.

The label covers a huge gap for little fingers to get pinched. I sent back and got another with similar issue. I bought $8 tub of wood putty and fixed issue. Only reason we kept is that we had previously bought one and girls wanted another one. Would not buy again.

Sturdy little dollhouse that meets my expectations for the price. Was a little disappointed with part of the workmanship, but some paint and creativity disguised the problem good enough for our needs. (See photo— what looks like a crooked shadow is actually a gap in the wood)Edited to add that the labels were attached neatly with just a few pieces of cellophane tape and were no problem to remove.

Used this as a shell to make a better dollhouse for a little girl.

So much fun putting everything together to furnishing and painting.

She is two years old and loves to carry her house to her play area and each piece of furniture is perfect for her small hands as her imagination soars.

I like it but it came broken. One of the tabs on the top of the house was broke off in the box when I received it. Overall its a cute house though.
