which for me is a totally waste of time and energy
It took me a while to choose a dashcam and i decided to choose amazon because i know that im going to have a lot of options. I was looking for a dashcam that is loaded of features that i want/need for my car & i dont mind paying for more as long as the quality is superb.First, when i ordered this dashcam they charged me with an additional (more or less) $150 for shipping whatever that is on top of the original price. I thought about it over a hundred times cause i know it will cost me a lot but in the end i decided to go for it, maybe it's worth it i told myself.Second, upon receiving, i immediately went to a car accessory shop to have it installed because it does not come with a car charger adapter. I want the cables/wire hidden and directly connected to the hardware. Again, that's another cost on top of what i originally paid.Third, this is the hardest and most disappointing part, you can only view the clip when you're connected to the device through wifi or save the clips you want to your phone. The saved video clips can only be viewed from the qvia app you installed in your phone not from your camera roll, if you are using an iphone. Therefore, you cannot instantly share them to fb, messenger, ig or other social media apps unlike other dashcams. You need to get the micro sd card from the device and save it to your computer/laptop, which for me is a totally waste of time and energy. Aside from that, i need to download video converter to view/open/save the file.Lastly, i have 2 cars and i bought transcend drivepro dual cam for my other car which is also equipped with wifi and has a very good video resolution, video clips can easily be saved to your camera roll and share it. I bought it for about less than $200 and i'm quite impressed and satisfied with it. Lukas qvia r975 wd did not exceeded my expectations, i had high expectations because of the great features indicated in the description plus the price (it is sure high). The video quality is not that good, it's a bit dark even if you adjust the brightness to max, most of the time when you review the clip there were parts that are pixilized with disturbances or hangs (grrrrr!!!) what if that clip is important???? It defeats the purpose right?!!Overall, i'm diasappointed, i didn't get my money's worth as i expected. I should have bought another transcend or other brands that can be bought locally. I dont think i'll buy this product again nor recommend this to my friends and relatives. So sad.
