XPACK 2TB XBOX ONE External Hard Drive and USB Media Hub 3.0

At frist I was very optimistic about this product. I have the green Seagate external hard drive that just plug to the back of my Xbox but is always in the way. I have look for another hard drive for my Xbox cause I have already fill out my frist one and need more space. So I found the 2tb hard drive with a housing unit and it connects onto the side of the Xbox and has 3 more USB connects to go with it. It came in on time and at frist I couldn't get it to snap into the side of the Xbox like it should but with a little time and being extremely careful cause it clips into the cracks of the vent I finally somewhat got them to go in place. It's not 100% perfect but still looks clean and like it was built on to the Xbox. Second figuring out how to not just put the hard drive in but then you have to format the hard drive so that the games, apps, music, and movies will download to the hard drive. Just follow the steps by step direction you get and it should work. At frist my hard drive didn't read but I shut my Xbox one off unplugged it and plugged it back in and it worked. Now I have 4 tb worth of space and 3 extra USB connects and it gives the Xbox a cool look. You also can get a bigger hard drive then 2tb since I got over 100 games now I am going to have to look into getting a bigger one, but in the end the product does what it said it does and looks great and gives more USB connects so I'm giving them 5 stars as long as it works..

Great unit, looks like part of my x-box, cohearant design - a little tough to connect to X-box all the way so don't get crazy trying to push, maybe mfg could change the way the tabs interact with x-box. First unit I got the USB on the device was bent so make sure you check unit thouroughly. I love having all the extra storage! easy to set up and make my default storage device with supplemental sheet sent by Gizmo when I bought it. So far so good my gaming is now limitless and i don't have to say "no" to my 10 yr old when she wants a game because there wasn't enough room on the x-box hard drive! Thanks guys

This item arrived in a timely manner & it does exactly what it's manufacturer says it does. My ONLY issue with it was trying to get it successfully locked onto the side of my X--Box One console: Two of the four X--PACK "tabs," or "clips," simply would not lock onto the plastic vents on the side of the console; even though the X--PACK was seated flush against the left--vent side of my X--Box One console. I finally resorted to using vynal electrical tape to securely mount it to the side of my X--Box One console. So far; so good. I'll know more once I finally start to make use of its external hard disk drive & also it's USB 3.0 hub.

My xbox one did not recognize the drive when I originally plugged it in. I had to format it with my PC. After that it worked fine. It does not come with a power cord which has to be purchased seperately in order to use the USB ports on the front. Adds a good amount of storage to the console.

The drive works okay, but is a bit troublesome to install, just because things are such a tight fit. It takes a few minutes to align everything properly - especially if you have an Xbox One in an entertainment center (which most of us do). The unit has front-facing USB ports, which is great, but when you read the documentation, you find out that the ports are virtually useless without a power adapter - which is NOT INCLUDED. That's just stupid, and I'm being very kind in that observation. Also, the documentation is very poorly written. It clearly wasn't proofread by anyone that speaks English as a first language. I can't install games anymore unless I first remove the drive, then reattach it after and move the game then. I can't restart the Xbox now, unless I unplug it or less the button on the Xbox itself. It otherwise just sits there. Sometimes I can't even connect the controller without first 1-2 reboots.

it works. i however could not get it to plug into the xbox directly. i have the usb that comes with it connecting them

Got this as a present for someone, and it has been running without fail since Xmas. NOTE: You may think you have been ripped off, because you don't see the drive, but it is in the adapter case and is easily overlooked. It works great, no issues, can load up games and not have to keep switching discs.

My grandson is very happy with it. I don't know anything about electronics
