New 2700 PSI PRESSURE WASHER WATER PUMP fits Troy-Bilt 020240 020240-0

I had to file on the legs to get it to fit properly to the bottom of my pressure washer, this was not a direct fit as bolts on the bottom of the motor interfered with the legs setting flush to the frame. I had to file notches in two of the three legs, filing was easy as the metal is cast but still time consuming.I had to replace one bolt because the new legs were taller so the original bolt didn't protrude through the engine block as the previous one did. That was $1.75 extra I had to spend.The pump is rock solid though pushing out more pressure than the original pump, that I was benefit of this pump. Easy hookup for water and soap. ****I will caution everyone please read your pressure washer manual as my extended family didn't this is why I had to replace the pump, also note soap is for low pressure not high pressure***

I have a Troy built unit w/ 6.5HP Briggs engine....This unit fit the main shaft perfectly....A quality unit having greater pressure and GPM than the original. Needed to buy 3 new grade 8 main mounting bolts and grade 8 nuts along with hardened steel spacer washers to fit my motor to this unit but that was expected because I read the reviews others had left.( P.S. don't try to save a few bucks by buying cheaper bolts etc. There is too much torque and you may end up with a cracked unit... use grade 8 . )

I am so disappointed even in the reviews to gain accurate information before wasting money on this products. They tell you to buy spacers and longer bolts for the install. They DO NOT explain WHY you need spacers. I bought the longer bolts and spacers. As I was installing the pump, one of the legs of the new pump BROKE. WHY? Because there was not enough clearance between the bottom of the motor body and the new pump. Such a simple explanation and no one documented it. Total waste of money and product does not fit, period.

Works perfectly but may require spacers to ensure the bolts will tighten and reduce vibration.

Works well. Does require spacers to attach to engine and longer bolts. I have used it 2 times and it did a great job. Mine was a front hookup and this one back water connection, but that seems to work better than the original when moving from place to place.

Necessary to use a thick washer on the bolts that are used to attach pump to pw. Otherwise works fine. So far no leaks or drips. Also seems more powerful than original pump.

Barely mounts on my troy built but finally got it on, however i''ll have to tip upside down to drain oil or else remove pump! Only used for about 2 hours and it appears to work fine. Dennis

Fit perfectly on troy bilt 020240 2550 6.75 hi pressure washer. Had to purchase new longer bolts. Key slot was sheared on the pump instead of the key itself. Advise peeps to get a softer key.
